No, you can keep the old price.I’m now being asked to reconfigure my car due to the EPA change. Does this mean no more free ultra red?

No, I had to do it as well, and I'm still getting my UR today at the same price.I’m now being asked to reconfigure my car due to the EPA change. Does this mean no more free ultra red?
I dislike both. The yoke is rubbish for all the usual reasons, but I can’t switch to a wheel because it cuts off so much of the visible dash for me and many others - especially taller drivers. Annoying.Well, that's the best statement on this subject that I've read to date.
Just love the Yoke and would not order a Model S or X without one.I dislike both. The yoke is rubbish for all the usual reasons, but I can’t switch to a wheel because it cuts off so much of the visible dash for me and many others - especially taller drivers. Annoying.
I mean, I wouldn’t tell you that you’re wrong because these things are of course subjective. I just wish I could switch to a wheel but can’t for the aforementioned reasons.Just love the Yoke and would not order a Model S or X without one.
Not sure if it helps, my Dec build X has the wiring. Had to have one of the panels replaced; was looking for the wiring and didn’t see it. Tech found it, taped behind the trim piece. Not visible on mine either but I'll bet it's still there under the door panel. Doesn't make sense they'd remove it right before adding the feature.

Bummer. Seems like you and I won't get it.View attachment 1023917
Just received a moment ago.
I don’t really think it’s a big deal personally. Ambient lighting can look cheesy and cheap, especially how I’ve seen Tesla do it.Bummer. Seems like you and I won't get it.
I plan on being very quick to reject delivery if there are any defects on my car.I don’t really think it’s a big deal personally. Ambient lighting can look cheesy and cheap, especially how I’ve seen Tesla do it.
Front bumper could be a need, but I don’t know enough yet and hear the vision parking system has drastically improved.
My hope would be retro fit is possible on both.
Good idea, I need a car badly, but will also reject if necessary. Will likely have less of a critiquing eye to you.I plan on being very quick to reject delivery if there are any defects on my car.

Hopefully that's fixed with the latest software updates and the new cars have lighter weight transmission fluid. But you can’t reject a vibrating car like our previous ones!
I was skeptical but the most recent tests I’ve seen with the updated vision park assist have been pretty good in most parking situations. It’s still not quite at parity with USS in terms of precise distance control but it’s better than USS at detecting curbs (both head on and side). It still has some issues with object permanence (false positives). For example, if you put a garbage can in the way, it will detect it. But then if you remove it (without the car being able to “see” it being removed) and then try again, it sometimes falsely “remembers” that object. That said, it seems to err on the side of caution most of the time, both with this scenario and with distance.I don’t really think it’s a big deal personally. Guessing you’re not particularly tall, then!I can see the entire screen through the top half of the wheel. Nothing is obscured. Was worried too at first until I sat in one but now that I'm driving it with everything adjusted to normal for me, hasn't been an issue.
