If you have Photosync as an option where you live, I highly highly recommend checking that out first. Ceramic has become just a buzz word for tints these days.

Photosync is the only tint to use. I felt the difference after Chris with All Pro Window Tinting, Canton, Georgia near Atlanta educated me about all other brands.

Not a model S but a model 3 but if someone wants to see another shot of Photosync 45% on all side windows and I did Photosync 75% on windshield. Didn't tint the rear window as my shop doesn't do a one piece and not sure I will tint it or not. Here's a couple of shots. You can see depending on how much of a sunny day it is and how much reflection it gives off. Does a great job on keeping the heat out. I was going to go with the 55% but the installer talked me out of it as I was deciding. I knew I didn't want the blacked out tint look like most people get. Very happy so far with the Photosync. Also, I had been using 3M Crystalline on my previous car, a Lexus, for the last 7 years. It did fine but has a bronze color to it whereas the Photosync has a blue hue to it. Both are excellent films at keeping heat out, just depends on the look you want. tint3.jpg tint1.jpeg

Spectra Photosync now will have their IRD technology, which has even better heat rejection than before. Both TSER and IRR are up from prior generation. (new specs to come soon)

If you are not near us in the Bay Area, Prestige Film Technologies' dealer locator is here: Dealer Locator | Prestige

My last 4 cars were done by Premier with photosynch and I loved it. Highly recommended especially if you live in hot areas. I'd be interested in getting the new photosynch for my Model3.

We just made a video of Photosync 70% to do a comparison on an 85 degree day.

Has anyone heard of the brand Viper for window tints? I know they specialize in car alarms, but I'm getting a decent quote for their tinting. Just wondering if anyone's had any experience with it. Thanks!

I was a "beta" tester for Formula One Stratos before it formally had a name, it's amazing. Not sure how Pinnacle stacks up compared to Stratos but I've been happy with the LLumar products.

It's definitely quite popular and time tested.

does anyone know if 3M crystaline 70 is legal on front sides in California?
    Current laws -
Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in. Does it mean 70% is legal?
