I think the opposite, Tesla wants delivery numbers and they will try to get as much delivered by end of quarter as possible. This happens every quarter it seems .

At the end of the quarter deliveries to closer markets (e.g. CA) get aggressively prioritized to optimize recognized revenue (completed deliveries). Eliminating 10+ days of shipping logistics (delay in delivery) at the end of the quarter to complete deliveries within the quarter has significant value for Tesla.

Same here! I think this is it!!!! Holding steady at 8/23-8/29... I am tempted to drive over to the Democracy location and see if my baby is there.

Received Text today to schedule delivery on 9/1...It said it could be sooner as well. Interesting though, when I ordered MYP, it said based on my home location, they could not deliver and i'd have to get it from the nearest Tesla location which isn't too far from me but today's text stated they will deliver it to me. Also when I was reviewing the final paperwork in my account it also said the odometer had 15 miles on it.

Agreed. Mine has been 9/4 - 9/24 for at least a week I think.

Updated a little later than usual this morning, but it slid back a few days... again.. :-( Now 9/4-9/20. Vacation starts 9/20 so that would really bite since a good portion of it was planned around charging locations.

Just curious, has anyone done any stats on when the car usually arrives base on the EDD? Early in the range, late in the range, or right in the middle?
