We're filling the time by hassling finance people 20 times a day. We still have no idea if they will pay on time. This is my first time financing a car. So far not a fan.

If anyone wants to offer insurance tips that will be the next issue.
It very depends on a NL company. I did it a few times and experience is very different. Bigger the company - more painfull the process from my point of view. Unfortunately, normally there is no choise and HR is selecting the company convenient for them, not employees. I am happy with my current one, can recommend if someone intrested. Pretty sure we both get some bonus on referral as well.

So, after a week of driving this space ship the only inconvenient thing for me is how to turn on turning left indicator while taking third exit on roundabout. Definitely there are not roundabouts in US =)
Try this, I saw this hack somewhere:

Just got to remember that the bottom button (left) is the only one you need to track and you should be able to figure out where it is without needing to take your eyes off the road. May take some practice, here's the video I put together

Delivery experience for those interested. It takes about 3mins. Check ID, make sure you have the app, escort you to the car, check VIN/plate, check your app is all done and that's it. Obviously then we spent time checking it out and getting settled in.

They do offer to help and even after we said no thanks every time someone walked past they asked if we needed anything. So the service and support is there if required.

The car was at 100% and plugged in. I assume it had been there all night even though it was an 11am appointment.

Autopilot needs to calibrate. For those curious, we drove from Osb Park up the coast and it was done by Mullaloo Beach.

It immediately has a software update so being an IT nerd its off doing that now. :)

My fourth visit to the Osborne Park delivery centre (picking up my car and three times helping others) and I've never seen the outside parking lots this full before.
Lots and lots of Model 3 Highlands waiting for their new homes and a handful of Model Ys.

My Model Y was definitely feeling outnumbered 😁

But to my dismay the local staff are still charging cars with NMC batteries (my MYP last year and my mate's M3LR yesterday) to 100% pre-delivery.

You would think the staff would know better than that, but they didn't appreciate it when I pointed out that Tesla recommends these are only charged to 100% when necessary.

Im surprised with the amount of deliveries they have to get through they even have time for them to charge to 100%
