Sorry to be a complete newbie but what’s the source code is everyone is talking about?

If you sign into your Tesla Account, right click (use chrome browser) and select "view source" then search for "VIN" if you have a car allocated then it will be showing a VIN number. If you are a lease/salary sacrifice then this wont work as the car doesnt show up in your account.

Interesting I ordered 18th September same spec as yours Blue/LR/Black Interior but with the upgraded alloys .... fingers crossed a batch of blues have been completed.

Ordered Sept 1st no vin yet.

Spoke to Tesla today, they told me the VIN gets assinged when cars leave China and We schedule collection when they are getting close to UK.

They said the vessel for my batch hasn’t left yet and I maybe receive end of November

They also said there were a batch of VINs early this week

Make sure your on one of the car pages, like for the model 3 and small white circle chat icon should show up on the bottom right, might not work on mobile.

I also just received a similar response from Tesla chat - "I can see that your order is live and up for vehicle allocation. You can expect an SMS confirming vehicle allocation in the coming weeks. Current estimated delivery for your order is early Dec".

Hopeful that the SMS arrives soon

Told the same as well, early December delivery now. Was November when I asked on Monday.

For reference I ordered an SR+ (Midnight Silver, Black Interior, 18" Aero Wheels) on 12th September.

As we are waiting for the next shipments of Model 3 Long Range to arrive, we are currently looking at November/December delivery.

They tell me something different every time I call. Early November, Late November, December, etc etc.

I tried ringing 3 times in one day, to test this. All conflicting each other with their answers.

Reality is, I reckon the CS team no nothing more than we do....

No VIN yet though

Sounds like it is going to be December from the posts on here.

We are expecting our new born early December so it might be a mad rush to the hospital on collection day

Just chatted to Tesla myself via live chat, this was the response:

Call me weird but I don’t really understand why everyone is asking Tesla the same questions over and over, expecting different responses. Q4 deliveries will occur in Q4, shocker.

Everyone is in eager anticipation for their Tesla’s - folks are excited though I expect some have current leases ending in the coming weeks so a little edgy.

Does anyone know about the logistics of deliveries once they reach the UK? I've opted for home delivery but would be tempted to try and change that to collection if it meant I could get it a bit sooner.

1) Vehicles come into the country.
2) Tesla employees do a mad scramble to get customers to accept them before the end of the quarter.

I would imagine, that it wouldn't be much different either way. I expect them to be breaking records this quarter again.
