I was previously on 2023.44.30.2, haven’t driven the car since getting that a couple of days ago.

The nag still appears to be 15 seconds as before, as per the regulatory requirement & when driving on AP I can see no difference.Let's hope it changes the nag/strike frequency.....
Am I the only person to find the frequency of these updates somewhat irritating?
I'm on 44.30.4 but I didn't drive on motorways yet to test the AP. 15 Seconds is the same as always and I'm fine with that. I was just worried reading all these comments about the internal camera and nag sensitivity with the last update......The nag still appears to be 15 seconds as before, as per the regulatory requirement & when driving on AP I can see no difference.
I'm wondering what triggered the need to innovate with a 4th decimal point fix rather than incrementing to .6 ... really feel half baked..I’ll see your 2023.44.30.4 and raise you.. 2023.44.30.5.1 (what?)

I’ve had almost a hundred in nearly four years. Better software is just around the corner…Am I the only person to find the frequency of these updates somewhat irritating?
half baked, I'm not sure the oven even finished pre-heating with this latest round of incompetence.I'm wondering what triggered the need to innovate with a 4th decimal point fix rather than incrementing to .6 ... really feel half baked..
The sad thing is there are probably plenty of people who do. I’m definitely not one of them.Yes. You're supposed to feel a visceral and uncontrollable thrill as soon as you get a notification that a new update is an available.
I believe they implemented it to comply with a US regulatory demand. If that is correct then it should have been limited to that jurisdiction.I get that this is there to reduce Tesla's liability not my convenience, but I am starting to think they might have killed the main reason I bought the car.
It doesn’t. I just did a drive on 2023.44.30.5.1 and can confirm the cabin camera is active and checking attentiveness.Wouldn’t surprise if this update to the update strips the recall effects from UK altogether.
What you just described sounds perfectly reasonable and shouldn't be an issue if you drive paying attention at the road. I'm guessing if the complaints about the camera check were related to one of the early versions or just people just suddenly realizing they had to look at the road......It doesn’t. I just did a drive on 2023.44.30.5.1 and can confirm the cabin camera is active and checking attentiveness.
I will say, however, that I only know this because I made a point of exploring these restrictions, knowing that they were there. I went out of my way to stare at the screen while in Autopilot, looking for a reaction. After maybe 2-3 seconds it told me on the screen to pay attention and did a single blue pulse like it does if you’re not torqueing the wheel after it’s told you to.
The steering wheel nagging seemed less than usual, given I was actively trying to prompt it to scold me, either the sensitivity has dropped or it somehow knew I was holding it Could have just been psychosomatic.
The cabin camera attentiveness checks seemed speed based, I could look out the window in stop-start traffic without punishment.
Not going to lie - if people are getting burned by this new system then I’m starting to wonder just how inattentive they are on the road? If you’re staring at the screen for long enough for it to kick you out of AP then you’re travelling reasonable distances whilst not looking at the road..
I’m reserve full judgement until I’ve tested it at night, because my car is old enough that it doesn’t have the IR emitters that illuminate your face.
