Hilarious sentry footage of a huge coach managing to reverse into my parked Model Y in a massively empty staff car park.
Started the insurance process, but drove it home seemingly OK. Any thoughts on repairability? Would the car warn me if something massively wrong?
It's a company car lease through Arval so I get to experience what that process will be like....

You know I actually thought that as I drove it home! Cameras all working OK, good thing there’s no sensors in the bumper.

I’d love to see that footage. A young woman did some damage to our previous M3 a while back and it was amusing watching her car slowly roll back into ours while she was on the phone, completely oblivious to the 15m she rolled.

Hard to tell, but the damage might be limited to the front fascia and hood which could make repair a straightforward replacement. I'd guess they'll need to pull the front fascia to evaluate damage underneath to know for sure.

Ouch. I'd be tempted just out of my own curiosity to whip the tub out and see what it looks like behind that bumper. Then again if you can even open the bonnet id' assume it may not shut again, so perhaps not.

I agree, not an expert, but no critical car organs In the bumper anymore (would have been different with an ICE); hopefully it's purely cosmetic..
Maybe the airbags sensors are bust though so the only risk I could think of is a malfunction if you were to be involved in a subsequent frontal collision...

Stinger missiles built-in behind headlights would be preferable in this circumstance...

It looks to me that the crash bar has taken the hit and perhaps its just a new bumper, paint and a crash bar replacement, bit of a blow in on the front edge of the bonnet - but that doesn't look deformed either.

Tell them the car isn't driveable otherwise you may end up like me waiting 6 months for a repair
