Model X snowboard rack for more than 4 snowboards?

Interesting. I saw this when I was looking online but couldn't tell if it was legit or not. (the chuck bucket)

Model X snowboard rack for more than 4 snowboards?

Specifically, this is the rack: https://shop.tesla.com/product/model-x_y-ski_snowboard-carrier-for-hitch-rack But it only supports 4 snowboards. So if anyone has an X and uses something else that does more than 4 snowboards I'd be interested in knowing what you use.

WTB: Model X 20" Cyberstream Wheel and Winter Tire Package

I want to buy this but it's out of stock at Tesla: https://shop.tesla.com/product/model-x-20_-cyberstream-wheel-and-winter-tire-package?web=true Tacoma area

Model X snowboard rack for more than 4 snowboards?

I know Tesla has their official snowboard rack but it only supports 4 snowboards or 6 skis. Is there a good alternative brand tow hitch rack system that handles more than 4 snowboards?

    Model X 7 seater with 3 kids

Yah, buckling while empty just seems like a pain, but I guess I could tell my kid to do it. I think there are some booster seats that have a tether system though to attach to the back of the seat. I'm still looking.

    Model X 7 seater with 3 kids

I've got 3 kids, ages 9, 7, and 5, all in booster seats in the second row of our mini van. I'm taking delivery of my 7 seater Model X sometime before year end (unless it's delayed again). I've read in the manual that there is no latch in the second row middle seat and so for the second row...

How do you put 3 kids in booster seats in the second row of a refreshed Model X?

Really? It's not possible to put three kids in the second row? Yeesh. I may need to keep my van then.

How do you put 3 kids in booster seats in the second row of a refreshed Model X?

Sorry, I have the 7 seat option. But my preference was to fold down the 3rd row and just use that on occasion but to mostly use that space for storage.

How do you put 3 kids in booster seats in the second row of a refreshed Model X?

I've got 3 kids that require booster seats. I should be taking delivery of a refreshed Model X sometime before the end of the year (barring yet more delays). Is there latch in the middle seat? If there isn't, what do other people do that have 3 booster seat kids use? If you have a...

I don't know if I'm going to get the 3P though.

Anyone with a Model 3 near Puyallup, WA want to help me out? $20 for your troubles

I've got a 2016 WRX that I have to back into my driveway because there is a dip before my driveway for directing roadway runoff. I don't mind backing my car in, but I just want to make sure things will be fine with a Model 3. I have considered upgrading my order to a P3D, but I don't want to do...

    Model 3 clearance question

Thanks for the reply. Yah I may try and ask someone. I am perfectly fine with backing the car in, I'm just worried about the front. I don't really want to have a situation where I need to go out sideways in the correct manner every time.

How to get an accurate insurance quote?

Every insurance provider I've spoken with needs an actual VIN number to provide a quote for car insurance. I'm looking to buy an AWD version. Is there a way to just find a VIN for a vehicle like the one I want to order and to get a quote based on that? Any insurance providers recommended in...

    Model 3 clearance question

Reviving this old thread now that AWD is out. Does anyone know the departure angles and how they compare to a WRX quoted above?

    Model 3 clearance question

Now that we see Model 3's in the wild, do we have new information? I'm still interested in this question beyond just getting my Model 3 and testing if I can pull in the vehicle or if I have to back in.
  16. T

    Model 3 clearance question

Wow, great response. I guess finding out this departure angle will be something that may be possible when non-employee Model 3 owners start taking delivery. I'll have to do some research on the WRX departure angle but yes looking at the side by side it looks like I'll be fine on the back side...

    EV-CPO.com CPO Consolidator support thread

Do we need to pay to see the hidden ones? I would. The screenshot you shared earlier Hank was for a $35,000 P85 but that still had a 4 year warranty. That's nut's. I'd buy that.

    Model 3 clearance question

I currently own a 2015 Subaru WRX with 4.9 inches of ground clearance that I currently have to back into my driveway (there is a dip going into the driveway and then it's steep right after that) and the only way I can make it in without scraping is to back in. I know the Model 3 has 5.5 inches...

How to justify buying CPO vs New Model S?

I'm in a similar boat. Trying to decide between P85D CPO and a new 75D. Before the spec bump on the 75D I felt like the decision was simple if I was after the performance but now the base model 75D is just as quick as the early P85's 0-60.

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

Feels like there aren't that many good deals right now. After the performance bump to the base Model S75 it almost makes more sense to buy new. Anyone else leaning the same way?
  21. T

CPO P85D with or without ludicrous?

You think buying a CPO performance vehicle is alright because it's different than a gas powered one perhaps?
  22. T

CPO P85D with or without ludicrous?

Hmmm well now that the new 75D's are 0-60 in 4.2 seconds the gap between the low end current Tesla Model S and the ~2 years ago top of the line P85D has narrowed even further. Perhaps I'll lose a little bit of the acceleration but gain AP2 and go with a new 75D. Anyone else considering the...

CPO P85D with or without ludicrous?

What price did you pay and what options? Just trying to get a sense of what is good

Performance improvements in Model S (and X) and price drops

I've always been averse to leasing cars... but this makes me more likely to consider that (or stick with my plan to buy CPO as it's easier to see what was available in the past and what became available moving forward)
  25. T

CPO P85D with or without ludicrous?

How do you even find something like this? Is there a way to see the date off just the vin number?
  26. T

CPO P85D with or without ludicrous?

Any other significant improvements from like a day 1 P85D vs the last P85D off the line before they moved onto P90D?
  27. T

CPO P85D with or without ludicrous?

So should I just talk to a CPO adviser instead and give them the options I'd like to have and let them look as well so they can give me a call when the right car comes up? (After checking historical sales prices I should have a good sense of if the deal they bring me is good or not type of thing)
  28. T

CPO P85D with or without ludicrous?

This is good info thanks. So just pay for a subscription to one of the ev price tracking websites and compare what was shown there with what is live currently is a good strategy?
  29. T

CPO P85D with or without ludicrous?

I'm looking at a CPO P85D but wasn't sure if I should try and find one with or without ludicrous. I know we're right at the time where AP1 is about as good as it will get and AP2 will continue to pull away but since I work from home and won't be driving a ton of miles I'm not as concerned about...

Best way to tell you're getting a good CPO deal?

How do you quickly analyze if a deal is good? Do you look at original MSRP and then try to see how much of a discount there is vs the number of miles used etc? Just wondering what the best way is to tell you're getting a good deal. I know from the main CPO thread that it sounds like the best...

Snagged a P90D Inventory car for $700/mnth on the new 24 month lease

So if you're looking to do a quick analysis on a P90D just look at the Tesla.com listing and if the 3 year lease is sub $1,000 then you can investigate further? But basically it sounds like I need to talk to someone at Tesla.

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

Ok so it's September now and if end of 2015 was awesome, feels like it may as well make sense to wait until end of 2016 to see if things are great again while Tesla tries to push for 2016 total car sales? Anyone else just doing that? I'm not yet sure what model I'd go with. Was previously...

Snagged a P90D Inventory car for $700/mnth on the new 24 month lease

Ok so I just spent a while reading through this thread. I know I'm late to the party but are there any good deals left or is it all a matter of talking to someone at Tesla? I'm in Seattle and most of the deals seem to be in California (re: SoCal Jimmy's posts - thanks for all the info by the...

So just to confirm (looking at the last several pages) everyone seems to agree that end of 2015 was the best time for CPO and right now we're not seeing many good deals?

WA residents can finally buy extended warranties?

Saw something posted here: Service plans referencing WA residents can buy direct at a service center now. To clarify if I wanted to buy new and extend the 4 year 50,000 mile new car warranty is it possible to do that now being in WA?

I missed those threads. Is there like an official big one?

New S60 with 75 kWh upgrade option battery question

I see threads where people talk about how they never range charge their Tesla's (charge them to 100%) because it can impact battery longevity. If you buy a recently announced S60 without the 75 kWh upgrade and fully charge to 100% are you still effectively not charging to 100%? Or is the whole...

As of 10:20 PM when I click the link I still see the car but the features aren't listed. Are the features disappearing the precursor to the vehicle being completely removed from the site? I know when the car is for sure sold when it just redirects to the CPO site. I've had to push back my test...

Interesting analysis. So my $40k number after 3 years (buying at $60k) is definitely a bit high then at least based on what you think and the $30k would maybe be wishful thinking. Ok makes sense. $42,000 depreciation in first year for that BMW? That seems crazy? Tesla MS year 1 so far hasn't...

Neat. How much does this typically cost? Recommendation on brand?

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

No idea. I just was thinking that if I wanted to buy used and could pick up a P85 for $60k that if I drove it for 3 years until Auto Pilot 2 came out (just guessing) or some other cool thing that I'd just trade it in towards that and save money on the sales tax side. Then maybe it'd be a $30k...
