I have a set of 4 Wheels (original 19" style from the 2012-2015 Model S and 5 Michelin X-ice ties. The wheels are in good condition. They were used on a 2015 Model S for about 6 months. One Wheel is mounted with an X-Ice tire and was used as a spare. It has zero miles. The other 4 tires...
It is the Goodyear tire on the 2019-2020 Model S. The Goodyear tire before 2019 was a T0 tire. The service center in Decatur Georgia to this day has no idea there is a difference, even thoughTesla posted a blog about upgrading the rolling resistance of the tires on the 2019 Model S.
The people who work for Tesla routinely know less than the people on these forums. I don't even bother to ask anyone. I got into a pleasant "argument" with a service representative about the tires on my 2019 Model S. He had no idea what the T1 tire was and argued that they did not exist (when...
I realize it. I have been following the forum. I have wondered why they don't reach out and offer another seat color. I know if I try to change it, I will end up paying more for the car. I would be happy with the tan interior. Either way, it's not a big deal. I have a 2019 Model S that is...
Ordered 1/28/21. Finally had a delivery date range of late November - Early December. Now, back to February. I may have the record for delay since I ordered the second day it was available. It does not make sense since so many have been delivered who ordered later. Oh well!

I stopped by the Alpharetta Georgia Service Center and they had a red and a grey car with 19s. Both had all-season Continental Tires. I was happy since I have a LR on order. Hopefully this is a trend.
Orider was place 1-28-21. Delivery Estimate is now February. I ordered the day after it became available. This is pretty hard to believe since they are presently delivering orders placed well after.

How hard was it to take them off? The reason I ask is I usually damage a rim at least once a year and wonder how hard it will be to replace damaged covers. Thanks.
I am sorry I was not clear. I mean the size of the wheels/tires and the actual tire used (because the claim of the new tire used providing more range). I am also interested in knowing if the 19" wheels are staggered or the same. I am aware that on the Plaid they are staggered.
So here is my update. I had no choice but to install one T0 tire. I am using 11 more Wh/mi. This is super annoying that the service center does not have the right tire and has never heard of it.
Exactly. I got a nail in the sidewall of a T1 tire. I went to the local service center and the tech told me that the T0 is the latest tire. He had never heard of the T1. I then went to Discount Tire. They "ordered me" the T1. My appointment is tomorrow and it turns out it is the T0 I could...
For those of us that would prefer the most range versus the best performance, should we expect a "non-plaid" version with more range? If not, I may put down a deposit now.
I got 20K miles on the front tires, while the rear was still at 7/32. I replaced the front tires with the idea that I would then replace all 4 tires next time.
I do not blame the person who posted for being confused or upset. It was advertised as 373. I have owned 3 other Model S, and this is the only one I bought that started out lower than advertised. The reason it matters is because I assume 5-6% degradation over the life of the car. So, the...
I have a June 2019 Build. The most I charged to when I first got the car was 362. I posted about it some time ago. I never got the 370 advertised as well.
We need a charger in Alpharetta, Dahlonega, Blairsville, Columbus, Cartersville, Brasleton, Bremen, Metter, Valdosta, and Stockbridge. These locations make statewide travel possible for Model S drivers with any battery size.
I completely concur with this review. I used AP1 for more than a year and agree that AP2 is making up ground pretty fast. One thing I also noted was when a car merges in from the left or the right AP2 does not react as well as AP1, especially in slow stop and go traffic. I think the progress...
I am excited for the future. It's improving fast. That being said, it reminded me of when auto-steer first came out on my 85D. It's no parity with AP1 but it will be soon.
These are all reasonable questions. I am concerned that I have a 100D on order that will have less functionality than the 85D I will trade in. I think it was reasonable for me to expect that the 100D I will be receiving would be at least on par with the 85D I already have.
