    Facebook Tesla Owners Group UK

The UK Tesla Owners Group on Facebook has around 500 members, maybe a fifth to a quarter of its potential membership. It's very active, with lots of good, up-to-date information and discussion. Membership of the group is open to anyone owning a Tesla or having one on order. If you're interested...

Any lengthy (24h+) test drives / hires available?

One thing I did wonder is as the sales model isn't through a "dealership", the experience or willingness from different showrooms shouldn't really differ. With that in mind, has anyone managed to obtain a long test drive / hire? I can understand if the general answer is "no". But as the...

'Driver' of An AP Equipped MS Making a Hand-Held Mobile Call - Breaking the Law?

Playing Devil's advocate for a moment... I had this discussion at work today. The letter of the law states "No person shall drive a motor vehicle on a road if s/he is using a hand-held mobile telephone...". Just wondering if you could prove you were not actually 'driving' then you couldn't...

Has anyone played with AP in bad (<50m visibility) fog yet? Anything interesting to pass on? I'm assuming there might be a point where the cameras can still lock on the lane markings sufficently to allow AP to work and the RADAR is well capable of penetrating fog... but what would the U/S...

First post here :) I thought I'd post in this section as there probably aren't many other RHD Teslas in other areas... I went for my first Model S test drive yesterday from the West Drayton branch. Having read up an awful lot about Teslas in general, spending a week watching various YouTube...

Driving a Model S 85 from the UK to Malta

Hey Guys, I wonder if anyone can help. I am in the process of purchasing a Model S 85 2015 from the UK and I would have liked to drive it down to Malta instead of shipping it. I have travelled overland by carnumerous times and driven down from the UK 3 times but adding the chargingelement to...

No more 'basic' leather seats - lease buyers beware

It's nice to be able to say that I think my Model S order has finally gone through. Not without a few moments of angst earlier today, when I got a call that my originally specced seats (the 'basic' leather i.e. non-next-gen ones) were being discontinued. This led to a hiatus, and to a whole...

Tesla at Classic car show at the NEC

Tesla has loads of people looking around a multi-coat Red P85D. Managed to get a quick sit in it, as it had a Panoramic roof and the Next Gen seats. Was concerned about head room, as I'm 6ft5, but with the panoramic roof in, I seemed to have loads of space. Another check box ticked.
