    Tesla De-Badge

If you were to upgrade your battery from 60 to 75 then Tesla change the badges on the car which made me wonder if they would be able to de-badge the car? I find the Model S and 60 too much on the back of the car, debadging gives a clean look. There was no option on the design studio but maybe...

5 Seat fold Flat second seat.

Is it me or is the fold flat second seat a bit lame. If only the back of the seat folds flat then it just adds space by pilling stuff on the seat. Perhaps the pictures on line just don't demonstrate the feature right but in all my cars this has allways been done better than this.

    Used Tesla UK pricing?

I have been looking for a used Tesla, and the recent drop to the UK site of a few used and up and coming inventory has got me thinking that for the UK market the used prices feel a little inflated. I don't see many used shifting that quickly, if at all in the main, and although the US prices...

V2Grid - Bring home some company electricity?

So ... if V2Grid was available I could charge at work and then use, say, 10kWH [from teh car's battery] in the evening to power the house, and still have enough SoC to get to work the following day (depending on commute length, of course). If I had a PowerWall I could "dump" more power, once I...

Hi Guys, I wondered if anyone else had received a phone call from Tesla on friday regarding 5 seat Model X configuration which is now unavailable with none air suspension? I was offered to pay £1100 to upgrade to SAS. I politely told them that I ordered the car without SAS as i didn't think...

    The X60D is discontinued

The 60kw battery option for the X has been discontinued and no longer appears on the Tesla Motors configurator in the UK or the US. Glad I ordered when I did because the 75 took the car over the price point I could live with for a second car. My guess is that the 60 was just there to build...

    New Hogarth Roundabout Tesla Store

    Winter tyres, or all seasons?

My 60D came with summer tyres (Michelin Primacy 3), so I'm now wondering about winter driving. Unrecognised registration plate?

I'm due to pick up my S60D next Tuesday, and I got the car's registration number from my DS yesterday. However, it's not recognised by any insurers, or by DVLA's online vehicle checker. Hoping there might be a Sarky here who could give me some advice. A few years ago our meter was moved. Turned out that we had a 4-core supply cable, with two wires shorted for each of Live and Neutral (to spread the load, rather than originally having installed a fatter cable, I presume). At...

Running the numbers it is certainly that all the man maths hasn't helped, can't see there is much in it overall, if going non-ICE then it is just the petrol/diesel savings per mile = to the cost of your electricity per KwH at home/work, those being the two main points of charging the battery for...
