I want to share my experience with the delivery of my Model Y yesterday (1/25/2023) a Burbank CA.
The car was parked outside and the agent asked me to look around, I started seeing cosmetics issues, Paint bleeding, Scratches, Misalignment, wiring harness and others. The agent mentioned that since we are at a service center, all (or most) this can be fixed immediately. After I took delivery, and was ready to leave, he pointed me to the direction of the service center and asked to turn left at the end of the road. When I reached the entrance I was stopped and was told that I was given the wrong info and I will have to create a ticket and submitted it and a schedule a service date. I went back in and the delivery agent now tells me that he told me that they will address my concerns but it depends on them when. I made some noise and they send a service specialist to help me create the service request, take photos etc. She did help me to get an appointment for 2/4/2023 and was told that I will get a loaner with unlimited miles and free supercharging. I left and as i got of the freeway, I could feel the steering vibrating at speeds above 60. It is pretty pronounced and I can feel it through the seat and my hands and neck start to hurt because of the constant shaking. I got home and added another this item to the service ticket and it now moved my date to 2/11/2023.
I called in to get a closer date but the agent I spoke to couldn't care less and told me it should be OK to drive the car with the vibrations. I repeated what he had said to me and he confirmed his previous statement. I asked to talk to manager or someone who could help me, but he would not give me an email address or phone number and said he will put in a request for a manger to call me back.
