Found out from Tesla that I was "matched" to a VIN that is in Rocklin and is now waiting to get on a truck to Burbank. I am hoping this is not a reject and just one the buyer opted out or wasnt qualified. Vin 224xxx and EDD shows July 9-12.

I think we should be assuming mid-July for now. Mine changed to Sept last week, but I've been told mid-July by a couple people. Who knows.

Looks like it. My estimate changed back to more reasonable 7/7-7/27.

The longer I wait, the more I doubt my decision. We ordered white/black with the 19” wheels. I’m REALLY contemplating switching to MSM/white interior. At this point, will the purchase price change? Will the order get delayed even more?

Congrats on the VIN, I ordered 04/29 so I am hopeful that I will also get a VIN soon.

Yes, definitely. I talked with my sale before, so I decide not to change anything and wait. We have the same config

Very nice to see earlier orders being delivered and not some June orders being filled first. Congrats man!

Any inputs on how effective the lumbar support is in LR Y. Kind of unhappy that the new vehicles are missing it. I'm 6 ft 2 and have lower back issues for some time. Share your experiences

Also any comments on how long the wait would be ??

I was bummed to hear it was removed, also. BUT it’s only removed from the passenger seat. Still a bummer. Seems easy enough to leave it be.

Anyone in Temecula that has a delivery date for this weekend, I was told it’s tentative. My SA said to me, expect a pickup on Monday or Tuesday. A very good chance that there’s a delivery delay due to the holiday weekend.

I personally don’t care that it’s the passenger lumbar support being removed. The person who spends 90% on the passenger seat is my wife, and she doesn’t even sit still when going on long trips. On the other hand, I’m strapped down in one position controlling the wheels in my seat.
Whoever speculated about chip shortage causing Tesla to remove lumbar support in passenger seats could be true, but I personally value the overall package more than just “passenger seat lumbar support.”
