Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Exactly a full month since ordering, still waiting for production on my 75D. Still shows June-Early July estimate. So much for their "Model S cars are delivered within 30 days" claim on that Model 3 comparison chart...
I remember you were in the same group as me with the PLG missing (new pricebook back in April ) and being told don't worry about it... everything will be fine:( ... I ended up taking my Model S w/o the power liftgate...I could not wait any longer for them to produce another car.... they gave me free service which I felt was not a fair trade for the PLG ... I really think you need to escalate this through Tesla mgmt chain... you are now getting seriously penalized ....Good news is the car will be worth the wait...

Is anyone else experiencing their MyTesla page being empty??? I logged in this morning like I usually do and I'm getting a page that is acting like I didn't even purchase my Model S. No VIN Number, no 'Scheduled for Production', no contact info for my DS, just a page that lists the different purchasing options for the Model S, X, and 3.

Notify the FBI! Your car may have been stolen Russian cyber hackers.;)

Is there any other tracking mechanism for an inventory car other than hassling the delivery specialist? It seems my car was in Alabama last week but still hasn't been transported to Ohio. How does a high tech company like Tesla have no ability to update its customers on the whereabouts of their new cars?

Less than a month from order to delivery for my 90D! (May 5 to June 1)

I think the first thing in the delivery checklist is make sure the VIN matches and it is your car and alas, it didn't. There were 2 white 90Ds being delivered that morning and they had our name on the wrong one.

No other issues than a couple of marks on the underside of the bumpers and the carpet in the trunk was not pushed into the sidewall. The delivery team was great and we are loving the car!

My S90D took a month too. The delivery was not good at all. Door misaligned, rocker panel installed improperly, then car had braking failure later that day and had to be towed. I will say local Tesla stepped up and helped remedy the situation, but it was not an enjoyable experience. Poor quality control at the factory.

So my delivery is supposedly in 2 days, but my DS has gone on vacation. I have tried calling the service center and corporate to try and finalize my financing/trade-in but they have been impossible to reach (just go to voicemail and they haven't called back). Shouldn't I be wiring the payment and such ahead of time? Can anyone speak to the experience in the days leading up to delivery?

I'm a little annoyed and any suggestions are appreaciated. This is my second Tesla. First Tesla was a complete build online and the manufacturing experience, communication experience and delivery was 110% exceptional service.. Well, fast forward to Tesla 2 (Inventory) bought last Tueday. Finace was completed Wedneday, Thursday she told me it was ready for delivery that same day. Well, later on she text me and says "we may have to hold off until Friday." Hesitant, but sure.. Then friday EVENING(7:30) she text me and says "we need your LLC paperwork sent to someone in Denver"(I live in Dallas). What the hell ever- but okay.. So fast forward to today, I still don't have vehicle and I texted her at 8am this morning and not a single response yet. Getting very annoyed and shouldn't be treated like this. Last text I got from her was yesterday morning saying and I quote 'Probably Wednesday delivery'.. I don't have a vehicle and they know this, the lact of communcation is what's pissing me off. Especially after they promised to "expediate".

Generally speaking, when I'm in this situation it's long past time to get out of text/E-Mail. Catch her on the phone to discuss and share your concerns. Keep calling until she answers in person.

More specific to Tesla, I feel your pain. My custom order for a 100D to Ohio on 5/24 clearly indicated delivery by the end of June. And to his credit, the DS has scheduled me for pickup @ 5:00 PM on June 30 (about as "end of June" as you can get! ;)). But it's not yet in production, at least according to MY TESLA. And the web site still says "July to early August". If you search the forum for historical deliveries by train, it generally takes on the order of 3 weeks. I'm not as bothered by the timeframe as I am the company who apparently doesn't understand how long it takes to deliver a custom order. Even a simple "Expect delivery in 30 to 90 days on custom orders" up front would have eliminated my frustration. It's pretty amazing that they continue to treat customers so casually.

Personally, I'd feel within my rights to request my money back if not delivered by the end of June. That's highly unlikely, but using bait & switch tactics is just not something I expected from Tesla either. But my hope is maybe being "end of quarter" they will truly try to expedite things. We'll see I guess.

Not to mention, it would be nice to be able to "locate" my car while in transit - there's probably good reasons to not enable such capabilities, but giving that much power to the guy who actually bought the car doesn't seem unreasonable to me. :D

Finally mine! A couple blemishes in the interior which they said they will fix. Nothing too serious.

The car drives like a dream! The kids love it, I'm loving it. So happy!

As they were giving me the training they noticed an update available. After coming home I installed it which gave me perpendicular parking! 17.22.46.

Beauty. Did you take delivery at Lawrence? Anything to note that is location specific that would be useful?
