My Wall Connector install is $1,200. I’m in Orlando where it’s generally cheap to get stuff done.

This was the cheapest of the standard three bids I solicited.

The steep price is the result of 100 feet of #6 Romex to get from my panel, through the attic, then down to the Wall Connector.

Mine was $1700. Hope that makes you feel better, LOL

Nope. I asked my SA about it and he said he'd check. That was 3 weeks ago and Im still waiting for an answer. I did see a screen shot of someone who did show the $2k discount though.

Material is cheap. Labor is expensive. The markup to get to $1300 is beyond reasonable. They saw “Telsa” and decided you had money they wanted. Get another quote.

Not so. I'm in NY and the material costs have gone up over 30% in the last year. Have you seen the price of 2 x 4's in Home depot/ lowes? Last year ~ $4 now $9+. Copper is even worse. And if they have to go through a hot as hell attic then as you stated your labor cost goes way up.

It’s all relative to region. Anything power related in Cali and specifically LA is oppressive.

Agreed. And my car is 125 feet from the box, so there was some extra labor getting the power to my garage.

For all you peacockers blowing an extra $40k for the Plaid to get to 60 in .2 seconds faster, the hilarious part is that it seems literally non of the commoners can even tell the difference between which cars are plaid and which aren't. Talk about a waste of money! Now you won't even be able to peacock!
