Most of the weight gain is in the CF spoiler, Plaid software, and Plaid badge...
They did save some weight getting rid of the red brake calipers, though.

That's the main reason I debadged mine. Gained 2/10ths in the quarter mile without that weight.

edit: also of note... the letters of PLAID are all individual, so I've considered sticking them on a dumb angles to be ridiculous.

edit2: I just realized I could reorganize them to be LAPD

Remember, you have to earn its trust before it lets you ride it. Going from a Volvo V60 -> Plaid is quiet the upgrade in “flooring it” experience

I actually added more carbon fiber to mine. About 4 more carbon fiber spoilers = even lighter. Checkmate.

well, I mean..we are talking about the same company who without any sort of warning/comms/compensation, yanked VINS and delivery dates from customers at the end of june, and instead, sold their cars to people closer to fremont for the purpose of counting the sales as Q2 revenue.

Absolutely! It seems like $10k is a fair price for five letters. (Comparatively $10k for FSD doesn't even get you a single letter, which is ridiculous.)
