Lunch break. Got 2nd coat of ceramic on. Installed front flaps and one rear. Second rear after lunch, then third and last ceramic coat. Pictures after than. Until then, for the 19 nuts, here are some pics.

Nice, what front & rear mud flaps did you install - where from / link? Definitely wanting to pick some up to avoid the rock chipping on rear panels. Thanks!

I was going to chime in but did not want to advertise just how lazy I am.

it made me wonder how the heck have I been keeping my cars' paint glossy with tight water beading all these decades just by handwashing and using a spray on wax once every two months at 10 mins to apply/remove. LOL.

I have the same configuration as you. My EDD was blank until 10 Aug when many received dates with the new automated system.

That's actually not as far out as I thought it would be. Just out of curiosity, did you pay the new price or the old price? I'm supposed to be getting "priority" but the lack of communication and EDD has had me at the Porsche dealer today shopping around

I got the same. It's from Platinum status. However, I was supposed to get a discount from the Merrill account I have as well.

I got 1.79% for 72 months through BofA also. $85k loan. Did it through the BofA website. i think I got a .5% discount because i have Platinum Honors status

Since I put my deposit down in Jan, the old price, plus another $2,000 off because it was before the refresh was officially announced and priced.

Had a feeling based on your order timeline that was the case, now I'm just confused as to why I have no EDD at all lol. I'm awaiting my trade-in offer to be updated so my profile isn't technically "fully completed" but it's just a matter of waiting on that. Hopefully we both get our cars soon

I headed out in my Plaid 2 days after picking it up for a 1500 mile trip and at 5300 miles now. No sweat at all, just go enjoy it!

I did 900miles the day after pick up it was great

Just FYI - it's only a matter of time before some YouTuber kid kills someone with a Plaid. There are a number of videos out there with kids showing its speed while seemingly being more interested in the video. My prediction - insurance rates skyrocket on the Plaid next year.

People have been killing other people in Mustangs and Hellcats and Corvettes for decades. Doubt that would start with the Plaid, being that cheaper, scarier cars with far less predictability and worse TC have been out for many years.

Well, it's shower time! Finished stealth flaps (Front and Rear) and 3rd coat of cQuartz UK. Tomorrow, after the ceramic cures, I will top coat with Beadmaker!

Just ordered the same wheel setup (SV104) for my MSP EDD 9/2 - 9/20. Trying to track down BT TMPS. Let me know if you have any luck.

I did see some listed on tsportline as OEM…sent an email to verify compatible w/ ‘21 MS.

If you already have a tesla, it is trivial to order the TPMS via the app. Just put in a service request for something like "tire rotation" and in the comments note that you actually need TPMS for the refreshed S. Took two weeks for mine to arrive.

$20 cheap one size fits all on Amazon. They might just be permanent, as they work!

Although this is NOT my new MS Plaid (this is actually someone else's LR), I thought I would post up a rendering pic of what my car will look like with my new forged 21" Signature Monoblock SV104 (Brushed Black Triple Tinted) although my brake calipers will likely remain black for now (although I may change the color at some point). Same 21 x 9.5 & 21 x 10.5 with exact oem offset but approx 10lb lighter than the 21" Tesla Arachnid wheels.

So, again, if anyone is interested in a full set of my brand new upgraded 21" oem Tesla Arachnid wheels for $2k, here's the posting in the TMC Marketplace FS: Brand New OEM 2021 Model S Plaid/LR Arachnid Wheels (not including tires or tpms) ...might make a NICE SET OF WINTER WHEELS for someone's MS Plaid/LR. If no takers on those, I'll sell them on eBay in early Oct; guessing someone (not on TMC) will buy them for at least $2,500-$3,000. So, I'll reserve the 21" Arachnids for TMC members until 10/1/21. If not sold by then, they go up on eBay.
