You would think the warranty would be from to he date of purchase, in fact it used to.

But no longer for Tesla.

Can you provide evidence of this change?

AFAIK, all warranty coverage begins at date of first CUSTOMER use, not when it was first placed into Demo or other use by Tesla.

Next time I'm at a Gallery I'll ask to see if there's been a change . . . .

Look at the details under a demo vehicle. It shows the warranty period - which often started months in advance.

It hasn't been that way for a long time. From the warranty document: (Which is dated March 22, 2021, so it has been over 2 years.)

Compared to a Midnight Silver Metallic Model S:

It's definitively quite a darker and different from the MSM.

The car had 10 miles on the odometer. I didn't check its birth date yet.

Pushing the center of the horn still doesn't sound the horn I read from a different thread.

I really hope I like this upgrade. The 2012 Model S was basic but worked well.

Yes. They said they had been asked to do so by police in the area.

They are required to deliver all Model S with the front bracket installed because it was crash tested that way. All the other cars arrive without it installed. They get so many complaints about that, because the website doesn't show the car with the front plate holder installed, of course... But, it's easy to remove.
