@R1Fast Yeah, I actually got my tint done on my current car at Midnight Tint (Huper Optik).I got my first quote from Metropolitan and was surprised by the cost which made me ask here (but I found it includes paint correction and they offered to come with me when I take delivery to help inspect the car if schedules worked out).

Back on topic, I'm still waiting for my Silver/White interior P3D. I got a txt to take delivery by September 30th but I asked if they could confirm my trade in credit. After a day they said they released my car to someone and would reach out in the next couple of weeks. I went to Bell Square to inquire about it and said to just wait Also emailed my delivery specialist, still hasn't replied to me since August but understand they are probably underwater.

Anyone know how long the trade credit estimates take? I submitted it way back in the beginning of August.

Are you trading in a Tesla? My non Tesla trade in evaluation took 24 hours. This was back in early August.

From what I learnt so far, it looks like the vin assigned to me was due to a cancellation of some sorts and is in vegas. they just need to figure out how to get it here. I'm anticipating another re-schedule.

Ugh, all these reschedules are discouraging. I was rescheduled from 9/23 to 10/16. I am not looking forward to a reschedule after 3 weeks of waiting, but I know the chances are high.

Nope, it's a Lexus. When I went to Bell Square and asked about it, the customer service person said it expired due to inactivity and she re-activated it (this was on Friday).

The real question you should be asking is if there is a place to safely test the 0-145...

Not an advice to break the law...

1. Pacific Raceways
2. The Ridge
3. Portland International Raceway
4. Oregon Raceway Park

You can definitely test 125mph on #3 and #4. Haven't tried #1 and #2 yet with Model 3.

All you people with the reschedules, have you considered going down to the tesla sales place at Bellevue Square and having the salesperson go through the inventory to see if you can pick one out and get it immediately? They have 100s of them in storage in Bellevue, I saw them in a parking lot.

I sent an email an they called me back saying I should wait.

my account said "by late September" for most of September. Since there were reports of folks getting their car within weeks from order I called twice everyday from 21st until 29 th where finally I was assigned a VIN. Cancelled two travels for this car.

Those aren’t inventory vehicles, or at least not all of them are. Many are assigned to buyers, just waiting for them to work through the delivery queue.

If you want a RWD apparently they have more of those in inventory ready to go. There don’t seem to be any AWD inventory cars. Occasionally they have P3Ds, probably due to cancellations or just them prioritizing those deliveries and just trying to keep the pipeline full.

there is a car in the lot which exactly matches my config (except the VIN). perhaps I should ask them if its available. but if someone is waiting for that car and is working through their stuff (say loan approval etc) I could be stealing theirs. I'll let Tesla sort out all this.

How did the loan get started without delivery though? My first payment was due 45 days from the day I took delivery.

I’ll owe a week after I take delivery (unless it’s rescheduled again). LightStream sends the money to your account. I had them send it on a Friday because I was taking delivery on a Sunday. They cancelled on me late Friday night.
