Thanks for the images dgh853.
I guess I must be wrong but it looks to me like the SuperChargers are positioned for a charge port on the rear drivers right. I thought the charge port was on the rear drivers left. Please point out where the error in my thinking lies. An image of the last bay would probably make it clear how this works for dummies like me.

You park in the bay to the left of the stall facing it.or, to the right of it reversing in. The same applies at the Star casino, and it is a bit confusing at first. The Star in particular since the chargers are back to back and there are 6 parking spaces but 4 chargers all up.

Judging just from the photos the positioning of the chargers in relation to the existing marked spots seems to vary between one end and the other. Is it possible they might be planning to re-paint the lines, distributing the 8 stalls over 9 spots? This is just speculation from pics so if anyone down that way wants to take a closer look...

It is common for Supercharger installations to include repainting the lines to match the pitch of the pedestals. For example, this one in Las Vegas, New Mexico which will open soon, has a fresh coat of asphalt sealant applied before the new lines.

Here are photos of the Goulburn Supercharger yesterday 8 Sept 2015.
The fence is still up and work is still going on. But, it's getting very close now!

It will be handy to have it available, although I won't necessarily stop here during a Syd-Canberra trip.
It gives me flexibility to head down the Hume without a full charge if I want to.

It's already been gratifying to pass 10,000kms on the highway without paying for petrol!

While I'm disappointed this hasn't been built out near the highway, I'd be ok with diverting through Goulburn, especially given the two highway exits you're not really backtracking to the highway. My only concern would be ICEing by local shoppers given it's in the CBD. This wouldn't be an issue out at the Highway service centres etc.

I never thought I'd see the day I'd be championing the Council Parking Vultures :)

That particular parking area is usually fairly lightly populated when I have been there. It is actually a block away from the Main Street and the only time it might be a problem would probably be when there were functions on at the Soldiers club or when the Trash and treasure markets are on on Saturday morning in the park.
