Note the front plate bracket is already screwed on. Good - it was done in the factory, not by some kid at the store. Bad - no direct attach with tape option - at least doing so won't undo the screw holes.

No, theres a base performance (without the 20" wheels etc) and a performance with upgrade pack (wheels, lowered suspension, brakes, spoiler).

Thus P- and P+

You cant order a P- now

There is now. But early on the three configs were SR+, Performance, and Performance with Performance Upgrades. LR AWD has since replaced Performance at the same price.

Performance cars go a bit faster than LR AWD ones, but are otherwise identical save the DUAL MOTOR badge with red underline.

Think of it as LR AWD with NOS.

I assume it's just the drivers of the delivery trucks probably making sure they don't fly off while they're travelling.

When you're heading down the highway and the wheels are spinning, the air is not constantly hitting the same area of the wheel.

When on the back of the truck, the air is constantly hitting that same location and may make it easier to rip off.

Just my theory. Either that or they're easy to scratch and are shipped to the store. Who knows. Either way, they'll be given to you at delivery I would expect.
