Just had a chat (call back from delivery person ) with Tesla. Very friendly and helpful, just wanting to confirm a few details. Delivery arrangements pending. Will be in touch with delivery details /invoice soon to Canberra. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks.

Aim to have all vehicles delivered by end September.

P3D+, Ordered 6/6/19, Change to white interior 17/7. Don't own a Tesla. No Reservation. Not an employee.
VIN no longer there.

Note the front plate bracket is already screwed on. Good - it was done in the factory, not by some kid at the store. Bad - no direct attach with tape option - at least doing so won't undo the screw holes.

It was probably done by the Autonexus or equivalent so I wouldn't count on much difference. (Predelivery people). Imagine you had to screw on plate brackets for 200 cars. Yeah exactly. You get the picture.

Anyone else called their phone from another phone to test that the first phone can receive calls ok?

I might have

... what about the nightmare where you dream that the delivery service specialist lets the phone only ring twice, before he hangs up and moves onto the next number?

I see myself waking up from that with cold sweat and a cramp in my right hand from holding onto the mobile in my sleep.

Anyone have any close up pictures or SR+ in Australia? The sales person in Brisbane shop said that the Australian SR+ will come without having the fog lights in the front. I have been trying to find pictures online without those and have failed so far. Just want to see how the difference looks like. I mentioned that all the ones overseas appear to still have those lamps there and they must then be just software disabled, but the sales person was certain that they have amended their production to no longer put those into SR+. It could be just the sales person not having correct information or it might mean that this has been recently changed and I would like to see what It looks like without those...

If true that's kind of a dodgy move on Tesla's part. I mean, I doubt I'd ever need to use fog lights but if literally the only cost to Tesla is a software on/off switch they have no defensible reason for not enabling that feature on every car. If some models don't come with fog lights it should only be because some models physically don't possess fog lights.
