That was me complaining. But alas, the update notes suggest that improvement is only available the USA for now.Someone recently was complaining about the really thin red line alongside the heavy blue route colour. I note that this 2022.24.5 release seems to fix that and make it much more obvious by using blue, orange and red. Really looking forward to that as well as the side camera view placement.
I used to host software install parties back in the days of floppy disks.
I go back to punched paper tape and punched cards. Before they invented floppies! Also remember my first hard disk (at work), 500kB, helium filled with a gas bottle to keep the pressure right. The CIA in the US had a huge room full of these things. What a power bill!3½“, 5¼” or 8”?
All three with a Z80 chip & 47K of transient program area.3½“, 5¼” or 8”?

Switches? Switches? We'd have killed for switches. We 'ad nothing but 't static charge on a balloon, an old sewing needle and a steady hand! You ‘ad punch cards? Pfffft… when I ‘ere a lad, I programmed byte code in using the front panel switches
Sewing needle? Luxury! We 'ad nothing but 't static charge on a balloon, an old sewing needle and a steady hand!
Yes, did this too. But I was older than a mere lad. Got callouses on my fingers from the switches. Also programmed a VALVE computer which used about 400kW incl. cooling. You had to replace all the valves at once about every 1500hrs otherwise the up time was way too short with valve MTBFs being what they were. You ‘ad punch cards? Pfffft… when I ‘ere a lad, I programmed byte code in using the front panel switches
My first pc use was a texas instruments with a cassette tape for storage. It made noises whilst saving.3½“, 5¼” or 8”?
Mine was a TRS-80 (commonly called Trash 80, good old Dicky) also with a tape drive and acoustic coupler (that too made lots of noises, loved it, felt like War Games)….ahhh…the late 70’s and early 80’s….My first pc use was a texas instruments with a cassette tape for storage. Ah, brings back good memories...you made the computer then you had to make an ASCII current loop terminal to talk to it! I cut my teeth on 6800, 6802, 6809, 68000, 2650, Z80, 8086, 80286, 80386 to name a few, writing BIOS's in hex and in Microsoft Macro assembler.. 41 years agoYou ‘ad punch cards? And half the time it didn't save.My first pc use was a texas instruments with a cassette tape for storage. It made noises whilst saving.
My 2019 M3 SR+, manufactured in Fremont appears to be currently downloading 2022.24.6, so might be rolling out to some non GF Shanghai cars.Anyone received 2022.24.x for a non GF Shanghai build?
