I did prefer the how the sensors show when driving on 2020.47 they where discrete small lines where as currently they very bold and in your face. I suppose I will get use to it.

2021.4.18 is a downgrade for me. Autopilot (not FSD) is now unavailable for most of my daily commute, previously it was there for the whole journey (although you'd be mad to try and use it). Today on a quiet dual carriageway, it aborted for no apparent reason while passing a few cars at 70, never done that before. I look forward to the next 'upgrade'.

It is frustrating that these huge sensors occur nearly all the time (certainly when driving in the country), such that they suffer from “cry wolf” syndrome and have become meaningless, whereas the useful regen line is so slim as to be invisible without some time staring at the screen.

That’s my perception too. I would expect that at some point, a wider beta release of V11 will have to take place worldwide and putting FSD cars on a slightly different software path, keeps things tidy. Could be wrong of course…

On a side note of all this the UI I had on delivery is seems so much better than on this version. Quick question to those that have had their cars for long while now is how many UI changes have occurred.

The only UI changes that were made previously were for new or changed features that required a specific control or visual representation. There's only been one major change to the proportions of the screen layout and font sizes etc since 2019.

It's likely to be a unique set of letters known as a hash that points to the specific version of the underlying code so the developers know the exact code that's part of that upgrade.

I was literally just going to post the same thing, have just upgraded to 4.18 and also noticed the wheel nuts seem to stand out more now, (they Need to upgrade the Wheel configurator with new wheel nut covers Tesla are now selling).
