    Solar city law suit

So tesla board of directors minus Musk settled for 60 million dollars all paid from insurance. I understand why they did but can’t imagine how they would lose. If any investor lost money it’s only because they sold shares. I believe it will be difficult to win against musk. He recused himself...

Suggest driving mode become part of driver profile

I love new driver mode hold. My wife does not. Our kids can take it or leave it. It is important for each of us to know what mode is selected so now we all check the controls to see which mode is selected to avoid a rude surprise. I would suggest the drive mode become associated with the driver...

    Tesla app issue

my tesla app became nonfunctional today. Had been using for 7 years, multiple phones. Other phones in family, no issues. Only thing I can think of was that I had updated iphoneX to 12.14.1 couple of hrs before. I had not closed the app (never had in past). Any similar event for others? Easily...

    Model3 repairs

have owned 6 tesla since 2012. Had my first drive unit failure on a model3 dual drive rear motor. The car is 11 months old with 6500 miles on it. Tesla replaced it in 2 days with rebuilt drive unit. I was surprised they used rebuilt part and did not extend warranty. I have no idea why the...

    Suggestion for Sentry Mode

love sentry mode. I think tesla can have an option for it to always become active when parked rather than have to activate each time. Like folding mirrors you could even have an option not to activate at particular site (like your garage). I know it’s not onerous to activate but like parking...

Looking to trade in tesla modelX

trading in my modelX. I am lazy and don’t like dealing with public. Thinking of getting a competing offer from car max. Antbody else try that? Or any suggestions of other places to get an offer. Virginia will not reduce sales tax based on trade in so not tied to tesla

Am I the first to cancel my modelY order?

i ordered a modelY long range AWD car but Musk tweet about rising cost of cars changed my mind. I have owned roadster sport, modelS and own modelX and 2 model3s. Naturally wanted to keep my series going but I find the favorate car to drive, the model3. My family have grown and kids out of...

    Superchargers in Jordan

i have watched supercharger network growth over years. Stopped counting the number once we hit 200 and remember when Delaware was the only one on east coast with only 6 on west coast. The growth has always been strategic with tesla goals. I have never understood the Jordan ones. 4 open and a...

    PIN to drive fexibility

A suggestion: there maybe locations where it would be nice not to require a PIN to drive. I agree with need for security but some locations, for instance your locked garage, may not require a PIN. Yes cars can be stolen from locked garage but certainly less likely. Owners could designate...

History mobile eye and nvidia systems

I remember the first conference call after nvidia announced their new 8 camera system. The mobile eye CEO claimed there was no need to have more than a single camera and that it could give complete solution. How naive and strange a statement to make. Thank god for tesla dropping mobile eye

Idea to make dashcam more useful

Since there is a web browser now, it would be great to be able to review on the cars screen rather than take USB stick out. I know web browser doesn’t handle video yet, but tesla controls its browser and format of the Dashcam file format

    AP accutacy in version 9

So now have v9 but am waiting to hear others experience with AP before i try. Is it more accurate on lanes? Is there a master key that opens all model 3 cars?

I took my model3 in for service. When I did that with my roadster, model S and model X, I always left the key with service center. When I got to service center I looked in my wallet for key card but I had forgotten it. For the last 7 months my phone key worked perfectly and I no longer carry the...

    A defect on my model3

I have to be honest. I previously reported our two model3s were perfect however we have discovered the Tesla emblem on the front hood of our 8 month old car was not completely attached. I hope they do a total recall of the fleet. I can only imagine what would have happened if I lost the T.

How significant Wii supercharger revenue become this year?

Anybody else abusing right rear tire?

we love our model3. We have had roadster, model S and model X and by far the one everyone in family prefers to drive is model 3. The car turns so tightly that on taking a right turn I have scraped the right rear tire rim/aero hubcap on the curb. Ok call me a bad driver but have never in 40...

VW diesel settlement and charge America

i just picked up my model 3 today. Perfect build. I remember when I got my model X and printed out lists of defects to look at but car was perfect including falcon doors. Pegasus chip

I am confused over charging rate

using a 240 volt 80 amp tesla wall unit. My old modelS with dual chargers would charge using 40 amps on each charger at 66 to 68 miles an hr. My model X with 72 amp charger puts on 38 miles an hour. I do not understand why the rate is not higher and certainly glad I got the 72 amp charger

A new way to upgrade your tesla

Many have expressed envy for new features. To enjoy these you have to sell/trade in your car and pay full cost for a new one. The most expensive part of the car is the battery. It is also the component that buyers of used cars worry the most about. What if you could buy a new car minus...
