I suspect new as in their company will be offering a salary sacrifice scheme from that date. A random person can't just decide to get a car through salary sacrifice it needs to be agreed with their employer as the car is (for legal purposes) actually a company car.

I'd be amazed if they _did_. There is a reason that you can just give your RN to the lease company and they take over the order - an order at the list price, and that is they pay exactly the same as you. You can't do this with any other car company because the lease companies _do_ get discounts...
