Anyone else getting a rattle from the steering yoke? SC actually replaced mine (they ripped it during service) and it still rattles...they say its spec for the car...super annoying

I have a rattle from the yoke…brought it in and they said that its spec for the model S. Anyone else have this or solved it?

aaaand wife's iPhone did not work

Just had Tesla tech at my house...he was able to log into the Tesla app as me on his android phone and get the calendar up. So, it's not a Tesla issue. I think the beta profile messed it up. Will know tomorrow with a new iPhone and will test my wife's iPhone with iOS 16 (never had beta profile).

do you have the same message when you go to calendar? to sign into the app?

yes, tried this. Tesla coming out tomorrow.

yes, tried rebooting the car, the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, toggled calendar on and off.

I am having a similar issue…this is the message I get. iPhone 13 Pro on iOS 16. 2021 Model S running 2022.24.8. I have reset the car, reset the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, checked the calendar settings…no dice.

This is my experience…cant seem to connect to the car either…says its been two weeks…which is when I installed the beta

I told the SA I would be amenable to a different color combination and he saw black/black available and grabbed it for me.

Got that magical text from Tesla yesterday…they have a Black/Black LR with 21” if I want it. This was the original color combination I ordered and having gone back and forth between white and black (I think the car looks awesome in all colors), I took it and will be picking it up today...

Does anyone know whether FSD triggers the price increase? I would assume not since you can add it after the fact. However, if they were to find you the same configuration that was turned down and offer it to you, does FSD matter or they would just add it?

Nahhhhh. Certainly there are SA's that are willing to grease the skids a bit. But, its a business. They want the car taken and with how much interest there is in getting them, they go to the easiest offload...location, timing, etc.

I went to Tesla in Burbank last week (my Model 3 needed a new 12v) and talked to someone in sales. He said that by end of August the February dates should be revised to sooner, more realistic EDDs…we shall see.

Same build, yet you ordered 3 months after me and have a 2021 date range? W.t.f….

I did the same, not for those reasons...you can always add it back when the car is ready. Im at Feb and ordered in March.

I have wondered the same thing...all these multiple orders on this thread...may have some impact, but remember, the people here are but a very small sliver of the buyers.

I asked my SA about that in the context of what happens if someone doesn’t take delivery, can I get on that list to get one sooner. He said that would count as a new order and would be subject to the increase.

He did not...just said that his system is saying November/December for my car....even though site was saying February

FWIW, Spoke to my SA...he said that though the website is showing February it should be Q4. So my guess is that the website now has a VERY conservative estimate.

I completely agree...that pure conjecture on this thread.
