Woke up to a text today that my car was ready and scheduled for pick up for tomorrow at 2pm and to either accept or decline with 2022. Accepted, completed paperwork and got a call they could deliver it today between 4-8pm. Arrived at 5:30pm! I can’t believe the wait is over. Still so worth it!

Wow, it was fast process! I hope I can get mine soon too. Congratulation!

I am at EDD 12/28-12/31 and also no VIN. This whole process is confusing/stressful. I can't get decide if there is actually a light at the end of the tunnel or not. I am at 145 days.

Ugh. EDD moved from this week to jan 5-feb 8th. And seeing September orders getting filled before me is frustrating.

My EDD window changed from 12/26 - 12/31 to 12/29 - 12/31 this morning. I’m hoping today is VIN day, tomorrow it gets trucked down the 5 to southern CA, then there’s the 3 day delivery window. We can only hope. Same exact configuration as yours.

Have any of the 2022 model year (produced after Nov 1) been delivered with the new updates (Full list of updates in 2022 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y uncovered - new in-cabin radar, upcoming UI changes, and much more Mainly: "the new AMD Ryzen processor, 12V Li-Ion battery, and full acoustic glass."

So it sounds like Model Ys coming out of Giga Texas (confirmable by VIN) should be the "refreshed" version with at least the new batteries... but we will all have to wait for cars being delivered from Giga Texas to confirm actual hardware updates.

I was wondering, anyone here placed the order and set the payment method to CASH and later on changed it to FINANCE? My order is on hold but I'll remove the hold soon. I will finance the car but I did select Cash when I placed the order so I'm not whether I should contact TESLA first and tell them I'm going to finance it before removing hold. Or should I tell them I'll finance it after getting assigned a VIN? TIA
