I honestly wish I could just lock in my loan rate today and not have to worry, but the longer I wait the higher the rates keep going...

This is the huge downside

2020 & 2021 owners didn’t have to worry about this

We are in some new, unchartered territory here with rising rates….

I CAN wait until end of June or even July

But the people who are trading in or have their financials in place based off of a dynamic delivery date are the ones who are justifiably worried

It’s best to not think about applying for a loan or selling your car until you get that VIN - because after that, things avalanche pretty quickly

Based on some EDD posted in the October delivery status thread, seems like we're back to sending most cars to the East at the beginning of the quarter again. I really hope I don't have to wait until June...

Couldn’t agree with you anymore. So frustrating, but until we get the VIN number my hands are tied with getting loan rate locked in.

Don't know if this helps, but Navy Federal locked me in for 90 days (2.19). Still at risk of falling short but might be an option to someone.

Was asked for trade information. During conversation I asked when my car will be produced. Looks like they provide the trade offer approx 21 days before delivery.

Trade offer for 2019 Sr+ Model 3 pearl white w/19s and 27000 miles was $37299. Basically exact cost to me after tax credit and rebates here in SoCal.

Haha, funny I got my Vin last Sunday but I haven't gotten the text or ability to schedule delivery yet. So just hoping this VIN sticks and doesn't disappear again.
