Ordered 3/3
LR RWD
Deep Blue/Black
Aero 18"
AP

Received a text today with a tentative date of 3/21 at the Marina Del Rey Delivery Center (I'm located in the West Hollywood area). I haven't received any email or call from an actual human with any info, but when I log into my Tesla Account it displays the same delivery appointment of 3/21 (and also has my VIN number, which appears to be a 2019 VIN). I guess I have two questions...

1) Is the Marina Del Rey Delivery Center my only option? Are there other Delivery Centers in the L.A. area? Also, I could've sworn when I made the purchase it said the delivery was going to take place where I live.
2) If I don't hear from anyone before then (since 3/21 is two days away), do I just show up at the Delivery Center at my scheduled time?

That's kinda crazy..I ordered black/white on 3/4. They are offering you a discount to take if off their hands while I'm waiting over here in Texas for an exact match ready to pay full price. I'd slightly prefer a 2019 so not to fussed, but it's weird they don't give it to a customer who is actually wanting it!

Usually when it gets down to the ladt weeks of the quarter if cars weren’t already pushed out further East it seems like the vast majority of deliveries will be done in Calif or nearby states they can reach before March 31. The fact that production volume always centers around certain builds at a given time could also factor into things. Only so many built before the next variation goes into production. VINs and therefore paperwork don’t get assigned until close to delivery date so last minute scheduling can take everything into consideration. At this time of year delivered numbers will be most important.

I ordered 3/3, blue/white, 18" wheels, FSD. Haven't heard a peep yet from Tesla.

I don't have a vehicle right now, so that estimated "two weeks from order placed date" was very attractive. It's been a tough wait without a car; I think about cancelling every day just so I can get a car now.

If changing the color, interior, or wheels will help things go faster I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Going off of many reports online, white interior has been taking weeks vs. days for black interior.

Ordered: 3/12/19 (although pretty late)
Config: LR RWD
Deep Blue / Black
19"
AP / FSD

Received a text on 3/18 with my VIN and that my delivery appointment was scheduled for 3/26/19. I also received a call from my delivery specialist yesterday to confirm. That will be exactly two weeks from initial order. Hoping that my VIN is a 2019. I'm going to call today to verify.

What an incredible delivery experience! Everything was amazing!

When I went to see my car, I noticed it had the upgraded wheels even though I ordered the basic aero wheels. The VIN and everything matched on the order sheet without the wheels, they were confused to how that happened, but I got a free wheel upgrade! I am esastic by all measures, car was flawless, everything runs amazing!

The only trouble I am having is getting my garage door to work with homelink properly, other than that. Omg amazing
did you pay for full self driving or only AP? I am curious if homelink will work with only AP...

No need to call, if you have your VIN you can decode it here: VIN Decoder | TeslaTap

If the 10th digit/letter is a J, it's a 2018 build. If it's a K it's a 2019 build

Ordered on 3/2 LR RWD Black/Black/18Aero, received delivery text on 3/19 for 3/28 @ Dallas Texas. The Vin has not shown up on my tesla account so I went ahead and called Tesla they were able to look it up for me. They were also able to email me the purchasing agreement so I could send that to my bank to get the financing taken care of. I head they will not ship the car until they receive payment so I am trying to make sure I get everything processed as quickly as possible.

I ordered on 3/7 and chose a white interior. After some changes including MR to LR, I am still waiting on a white/white car. Speaking with a rep here in Southern California who works with the delivery team, it is clear that white interiors are the bottleneck. Again and again, I'm being offered black or gray cars with black interiors, an was offered one black car with a white interior (which was in Vegas). I'm not flexible on my color choice, so I'm afraid to guess how long the wait is going to be. I did receive a comp on my paint price when I upgraded to LR, so I was reasonably content about that. The thing is, I just don't understand why they seem hell-bent on churning out more and more and more cars with black interiors when we have all these people set on white interiors. Tesla seems more fluid in its approach than other auto companies, so it really surprises me that they're not responding more quickly to the demand for white interiors. By the way, I'm currently without a car, so my ability to wait is somewhat limited. I really don't want to go with a fully loaded Clarity, but at their discounted price of 30K, it's going to look more and more tempting to have a car AND save $15,000 as the weeks pass. I hope they put some cars with white interiors on the ground soon. There are people who have been waiting longer than I, and I can only imagine how they must feel.

So, just got my VIN & MVPA and it says the odometer has 50 miles. I know I'm being petty, but this is a 2019 313XXX VIN coming from Fremont to the PNW. Since it's a round number assuming it's standard to give them a cushion for testing, transport, etc. Anyone else seen this or have thoughts?
