I don't disagree, but I think you're mis-interpreting. I don't prefer to listen to the back/what they are watching. However, what you're saying suggests that the front and back are somehow acoustically separate. They aren't, and you're going to hear what's going on in the back - the only solution I see is allowing two audio outputs so that my kids can wear their Bluetooth headsets. We can't do that yet.Your logic doesn't make sense to me. If my kids are listening to some obnoxious you tuber, talking in positive tones and stringing their words together to avoid any breaks of silence, and I am having a conversation with my wife, sound in the back ONLY would clearly be better than that same sound in the front as well.
I'm also more talking about two different soundtracks (YouTube in the back, music of your choice in the front). I would not want my wife and I listening to something quietly and talking up front and having the YouTuber talking in the background. Again, here, I'd prefer if my kids had Bluetooth headphones on to listen to the back audio/screen separately.
I don't want dual audio output unless there's the option to have dual Bluetooth output - having dual output without would be akin to the issue described above. What you described is the same thing as simply putting the radio output to the rear speakers only. That can be done in today's vehicles.
