About 20 cars in the spreadsheet, so a couple of trends (I know, I know, n is still small):
  • RN appears to be sequential (but with some overlap, maybe because of tweaking to orders or something)
    • RN1142: 12/20/20
    • RN1143: 12/31/20-2/1/21
    • RN1144: 2/1/21-2/12/21
    • RN1145: 2/15/21-2/20/21
    • RN1146: 3/10-21-3/12/21
    • RN1147: 2/4/2021-4/5/21
  • Orders before the announcement are mostly "-", right after the announcement are "July" and since mid-Feb have the date range (x - y weeks)
  • Mostly LRs
  • Colors: MSM (7), White (5), Black (4), Red (4), Blue (3)

My SA in Los Angeles told me last week, that on Monday I would finally be getting a delivery timeframe on my account page this last Monday (May 10th).
Still nothing except I now have the "-" whereas before I just had "We will reach out to you".
I ordered Oct 2020 long before refresh, and am RN1141. I guess I should be jumping up and down that I got a dash. #1stTesla #Nuts
I got a dash too., previously had nothing. Also RN1141. Southwest Florida

Wait. If Elon sees I’m participating in this, will he push me back in line for delivery? 🤣

For once an honest answer: I called the Del Amo store in Torrance, CA to ask about my MS LR (RN 1142 November 2020). For once I was told that they can't tell me anything more that what I can see for myself on my Tesla account. No speculation, no bull*sugar* that they expect updates "next week". Plain straight talk: "check your Tesla account in June." I appreciated her honesty though, quite frankly, I didn't like what she said.

I fall into the RN1143, gray plaid.

The estimated delivery date on my reservation went to its current status of “-“ after I made design modifications. If others experienced a similar trigger (was x to y weeks or a specific month before design modifications and then “-“ after), then that is another pattern...

Somewhat similar happened to me -- I modified the color, and the delivery date went blank. Until it became a dash last week.

Wow that's great to see. This is the first time I've seen anything showing Plaid's performance.. I wonder how many passes it took to get exactly 9.23.

To keep this delivery related, them going for this kind of test at this point in time with Jay Leno being there supposedly filming it has to mean that they are getting pretty close and at the very least means they don't have a lot more tweaking to do to get the specs that they promised.

A few thoughts on screen tilt. I guess first a question, by tilt, do you mean up and down like a head nod, rotation like a head shake, or both? Let's talk about rotation first, unless you were looking for ~30° of rotation, you would never look directly at the screen. So what's the difference between looking at it 30° off axis or adjusted toward you to 25° viewing angle?

Then on to tilt up and down, from the best adjusted seat for the shortest driver and the best adjusted seat for the tallest driver, does it really matter there either? Are the graphics any less legible in a range of 10-15°? And don't tell me that you will keep adjusting the tilt to avoid sun glare as you navigate around town. The model 3 has a stationary screen and it works just fine for delivering information.

This was mine too. I was 4-12 weeks and then changed rims 3 weeks after Mar 12 order and got a “-“.

RN 1144, LR, MSM, Black, Arachnid, ordered 2/5, ETA initially 1-31 March, then March, then changed to July in early April, no change since then.
My 3 to 4 weekly check in with my SA today (who has been great, no sugar). I asked about the latest chatter around people seeing delivery dates starting in June. Response was that is all it is at this point, said not to get too excited, said i should follow up this time next month. Hasn’t seen a refresh yet, if and when one arrives in the Northeast that will be positve...but until then steer clear of the chatter.
Personal opinion - until Gabe or another drone Fremont flyover guy spots significant S’s rolling off the production line and sitting in the logistic lot i am not going to get excited, can’t deliver what isn’t made. Early debate of yoke or no yolk was wasted breath, yokes coming across the board. I’m with Tigers, the change in wording on the screen likely means no tilt. Sticking with my Junlygustember delivery expectation. Briefly thought about upgrading to Plaid after reports today, will be envious of those that have them (in a good way) but think the LR will work fine. Best of luck all, it will be worth the wait.

PLAID reservation holders might find this interesting. Attached is the reply I received from someone who claimed he had a ride in a plaid refresh.
At first I thought maybe he was full of sh*t but his reply seems genuine. Didn't say anything crazy for 0-60 and 5.2 to 113 sounds spot on.. I'm a little giddy :)
Anyone else think his reply is legit ?
