Also, for a car of the Model S's proportions, lighter colors do not necessarily work in my opinion. There's a reason for the dark shades; they look classy, elegant and timeless for such a big car.
Have to say that the new grey appears to be way "cooler" than the old one. One of my fellow Model S's at work is the current grey; the owner typically plugs it in alongside mine almost everyday at the two HPWCs there. The grey looks increasingly dull and tepid the more I see it, particularly when mated with the standard 19" wheels. The grey ("titanium"?) on one of the LEAFs nearby looks far nicer.

My wife's cousin in San Jose - who waited a few months for the MC Red - wishes he got one of the darker colors each time he sees my green; he considers his own bright MC Red to be a bit tacky-looking after a year of ownership.
Just received a reply from my DS that my order is automatically switched to the new Grey. Not sure if I should be happy about this.
Would really like to see this shade in reality.
I never would have guessed that a thread discussing a new shade of grey could go on for 6 pages...
