I understand using concrete around gas pumps to avoid pavement damage from gasoline. Not sure about here.

Kettleman City is the same. As mentioned, concrete is far preferable in this climate.

Nice highlight of the second transformer. I am still wondering about the kVA size of each. They appear to be larger than a typical 2500kVA transformer.

I have a feeling Tesla will prioritize this site to be ready by Thanksgiving just like with other major sites close to opening before Thanksgiving.

My bet is the Supercharger will be open by Thanksgiving but not the rest area.
