Heard today that the delay had to do with the fact they have to turn off the whole shopping center and some nightclubs etc for 3 hours to turn it on and they cannot find a good window to do it.

I spoke to the Tesla tech doing the CCS upgrade last week.

Surely the kids can have a night off and not go "clubbing".

Dropped in there for a cheeky charge and shop today, parking was very full, people stalking shoppers leaving for a spot etc, and both charge spots were free.

I've gotta say, I was impressed, I know we get ICE'd a bit, but sometimes, a whole shopping centre full of people do the right thing. Who'd have thought

I went down tonight for a quick charge at the desination chargers while picking up dinner. I noticed some new signs on the way down and that the Super Chargers were all lit up. So I couldn't resist giving her a quick 10 minute charge.

The writing isn't very noticable though. I'd prefer if they painted them really boldly to make it really obvious to ICE drivers.

Yay, time to do a bit of a new Supercharger's of 2019 road trip although I very much would have liked to include Torquay. There's still 60 days until 2020!

Never been to moonee ponds before but it is a great set up with the super chargers and two destination chargers too. I arrived at 60% so used the destination charger instead of the supercharger which allows me to get to 80% or so by the time I have done the shopping and no idle fee risk.

One downside is that it is at the bottom of the car park where you get no LTE reception so not youtube or web browser or netflix.

No LTE and very humid down there from today's rain but ah well, at least we've got new superchargers. Not my Model S (I bloody wish) but if it's yours, you'll see me on sentry cam.

Same deal at the Broadway Sydney Superchargers until someone fitted a 3G/4G antennae so perhaps they will do the same there. Perhaps some feedback to the shopping centre?

I think they will not impose time limit if there is no internet. Im usually there around 6am so shouldnt affect other users.

I went there for the first time a few days ago and managed to (very) briefly draw 116Kw from the Supercharger in my 75D as I was down to 29% SoC and the supercharger was completely empty, which was awesome.
