More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

(Eloped when they were 18, and my grandmother apparently said it would not last. Celebrated their 70th anniversary last year.)
Hope they didn't stay together to spite her, we have a house in town called the Spite House that was built to spite another family member, runs along the property line, probably the reason the setback laws were passed in Alameda.

Very true. From the start we knew it would only get more and more. But at least 10 years ago, when I started, you could catch the superchargers in your area and go back home and be god for a while. Today, the moment you drive, a new one opens. Oddly it is always in the area you just left, never where you are going next LOL
Well, except for my recently concluded trip, where a new one (Burlington Hwy 99 WA) opened up right in front of me in the prime hunting grounds of the "Pacific Northwest Gang". I decided it would be a fitting charger with which to take back 11th place. Even managed to get a mobile barricade set up to keep out competitors, but Big Earl and Plus EV managed to sneak in under the buzzer to claim co-firsts.

I’m sure it could be argued (or planned out by the newest AI traveling Salesman “app”) that my current route makes absolutely no sense if all you are trying to do is maximize unique SC visits, and I might even agree.
But does the AI know what a stick in my craw some of these outliers have been to me?
That I’m on a variable schedule known mostly only to me, but with outside influencers? When will they read our minds with Neuralink Elon??

I’ll toss in a First Alert for the green pins in TX and LA, but one or both may NOT happen tomorrow if one wants incentive and is relatively nearby. Certainly the next day. What is the next day from tomorrow??

Have at it, if so. 🤗

EDIT: just to add, daytime temps everywhere I have been were all 90 plus, or 100 plus. Driving through my old digs in Avon, and CO nights in general, we’re gloriously “chilly” even during whatever heat bomb we are calling this.

Come on up to Seattle! I've had the heat on at home all but 2 days since I got back at the end of May. And based on the forecast, it looks like I'll have it running well into July! Even had to run the heat in my greenhouse of a car in the middle of the day today!

We drove from Red Deer to Fort St John. A long day for us.
First segment was from Red Deer to Edson; 193 miles. 99% - 27%.
Next segment was from Edson to Grand Praire; 205 miles; 99% - 21%.
To save about 30 miles we took off highway from Edson to Fox Creek.
This was basically dirt road used for oil and gas drilling and maintenance.
Pretty drive.

And then the weather was not so good; rain and colder and almost some snow.

We charged up at a SWTCH charger in Grand Praire; 75kW.
Took a picture at Dawson Creek.

And finally made it to Fort St John.
Charging overnight at the MicroTel.

I got an unexpected first today at the new Grants Pass, Oregon supercharger. As it has been open for a week, I normally would have expected @evp or @GHammer to have already claimed it. I will definitely take it, though!

We’ll be hanging out in Ashland for a couple of days, taking in the Shakespeare Festival, before heading to Lake Tahoe later this week.

#948, 06/17/24, Grants Pass, OR - NE Terry Lane (first)
#949, 06/17/24, Ashland, OR

For anybody here that enjoys really good Italian food, my wife and I highly recommend “Osteria La Briccola” near the plaza and Lithia Park. We had an amazing meal and really great service.

I don't chase firsts, I have too much keeping me busy around the house and G.P. is a 6+ hour round trip. I'll pick it up on my next scheduled trip in Aug. until then, I'm on the sidelines.

Have fun in Ashland, we always have a great time there. Good shows, good food.

I have fond memories of a field trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland with the gifted program after "graduating" from elementary school. We stayed at the Southern Oregon University dorms for a few days and went to plays every night and also attended some medieval festival. So keep an eye out for a big group of 6th graders from the Olympia area. If they still do it, they'd be down there this week.

It could be worse! It actually is snowing pretty hard in areas around Banff and Yellowstone. You're north of the bad stuff.

When I drove the Alaska Highway in 2005, we left Seattle on June 18th give or take a day. So that would have put us in Dawson Creek around the 20th and 21st. I don't recall getting any bad weather on that trip or even thinking about the cold. I think it was 60s and 70s most days with temps in the 50s at night. Other than some drizzle at Denali National Park, I don't think we had any precip at all.

Keep posting pics and trip reports, this trip will be a fun one to follow!

I took a somewhat-last-minute work-ish trip to Pittsburgh on Sunday, returning late last night early this morning. My desire to avoid bad weather and the PA Turnpike led me to two new superchargers:

I probably could've gotten a couple more, but it was already super-late after two whirlwind days.

We drove from Fort St John to Fort Nelson; no problem.
There is a FLO charger about 33 miles north of Fort St John at Mile 80 Rest Stop.
IMG_6367.jpg

No login required. Just plug in and starts charging.
50kW. Requires a CCS adapter.
We will be doing many of these on this trip.
I am happy (yeah) that it works; at least so far.
We charged to 99% at MicroTel charger.
We were at 85% at the FLO charger; we charged back up to 98%.
Arrived at Fort Nelson at 34%.

We are staying at the Woodland Inn, a very nice hotel.
But we are charging the Tesla at the Triple G RV park on the other side of the town; about 1.5 mile walk.
After charging for about 2 hours we are now getting notices about "charging stopped".
Not sure why, started charging again, but stopped after about 10 minutes.
This is a J-1772 connection.
I really do not want to walk 1.5 miles to see what is going on.

I reduced Amps from 32 to 20 to see if that helps. So far so good. Will take longer to charge but that's OK since have all night.

Enjoying the trials and travails! At least you got your steps in for the day :)

On my 2005 trip, we stayed in Fort Nelson and then Watson Lake, Yukon the next night. It was a longer day of driving than you would think though because I insisted on driving the highway up towards Fort Liard as far as the border with Northwest Territories (just so I could say I had been to NWT). It was a rugged gravel road which was no surprise, but about 20 miles from the border, we arrived at a bridge that was completely closed. After waiting for a while, I got out and spoke with a woman on the construction crew and she explained that they were shutting it down all day for road work and only letting cars pass once an hour during. I sheepishly explained that we would be coming back through about an hour later and she confirmed that they would still be opening the road up periodically at that time. So on we went after a long delay and then we suffered another long day on the return trip to the Alaska Highway. But I got some very cool pics at the Welcome to Northwest Territories sign. It was a very rustic sign back then but it appears to have since been updated into something more modern.

I remember almost nothing of Watson Lake. Just looked at the hotels and can't figure out where we stayed. There isn't much there! But be sure to stop at the Signpost Forest or whatever they call it. Maybe you can try to find as many supercharger cities as possible in the forest!

We did the Alaska cruise, looking forward to doing the drive some day, but MAN the mosquitos up there were crazy. Took a forest walk with my wife and as we came back to the place the sea plane dropped us off I noticed my wife had a shadow of mosquitoes following her a few inches behind. We had to outrun them so they didn't follow us indoors where they had those electric tennis rackets for killing those that did make it inside. That was September so perhaps not so many just yet.

Not much going on on my end. Still busy with work all over the place. For fun I tried to see what the max real distance I can do in my Y. I drove 274 miles in one go using 94% of the battery. Took me 4:30 h. Not fun.
