I'm actually in the same boat. I blinked because I figured it was a scam and it was.

Maybe I am naive, but I think Tesla intended to increase FSD on 16th August, but decided to do it when v10 (with more features) was released instead.
If it is a scam it is totally ineffective since we can cancel FSD or add as we wish.
Ordered floor mats a few days ago because of what tesla said. But they got it wrong again as the checklist says they come with the car...
I have enough on with the ships/vins. If anyone wants to summarise the delivery side that would me most helpful..

I am going mad! I haven't been this excited for a goddamn PRODUCT since I was a kid! It's just not normal.
In other news, I spent half the day cleaning out the garage to get it ready for the Tesla.

Who asked you to mail the custom plates in to Tesla? I was told to wait until my delivery specialist actually contacted me to do anything with my custom plates. Nice that they are being consistent! /s
Well, if it helps, I can pass your number on to the ATO for their final demand. They have a warrant out for your arrest, but don’t worry. You can now pay the outstanding amount in Bitcoin, iTunes gift cards, or Tesla Model 3 cars...I'm glad I dont own stock at the moment

Australian Taxation Office. There's been some scams over here where scammers get people go out and buy them thousands of dollars worth of iTunes gift cards to pay off their supposed ATO debts.

It’s mostly those on work visa’s from nearby small countries that caught outI guess IQs are not too high over there
Here’s what I got in an email from my Delivery Specialist when I asked about my custom plates. They basically need them 5 days before delivery; so you should be fine.
“You're definitely correct with the custom number plate selection - we will just need the plates physically on site with us at least 5 days before delivery, so you’re welcome to send them any time. You can post them or drop them in, whatever will suit you best. The address is Building 4, 650 Church Street, Cremorne 3121 and the service centre operates between 8am-5pm Mondayto Friday. ”
Just wondering if people have any trips planned or thinking of in their shiny new cars? I’ve got family in Adelaide so would consider Melb-ADL road trip. Also, dear friend in Byron Bay so would do Melb-Syd-Newcastle-Canberra-Port Macquarie-Byron Bay. Looking forward to using the charger network on these routes and seeing how it pans out
