I am going to sell my Model 3 key fob that I bought from the US store as I don’t really need it. Works fine on the AU Model 3. Is there a good place to sell stuff on this forum in Australia?

I bought it before I got the car because I had heard a lot of stories about the app not being 100% reliable (and I got bored waiting). Now I have had the car for a week, the app has worked flawlessly for me and there is no real reason to need the Fob from what I can see. Unless you are lending...

I am coming from a Subaru Levorg 2.0T AWD “Sportwagon” and I can say the SR+ is at least 4x more fun to drive. I would classify it as a Sports Sedan.

I can confirm that the Model 3 Fob from the US store DOES work with the AU Model 3. Turns out I wasn’t pressing the buttons hard enough :oops: it is a moot point I guess as there is a new one coming out that supports passive entry...

I mean it does nothing when you press the buttons on the Fob. Only works when you tap it on the pillar and behind the cup holders like the key cards. I am aware there is not meant to be passive entry with the fob. I am assuming that the buttons maybe don’t work due to RF spectrum regulations in...

Has anyone managed to get a Model 3 key fob from the US Tesla store working on an AU Model 3? I picked up my car yesterday and was able to pair the Fob with the car but it only seems to work like the key cards. The RF functionality might be disabled in AU The car is awesome BTW :cool:

I am waiting on the same config as you have in Brisbane and have not had the same experience. I am in the negative experience camp with no delivery date and no indication of when it might come.

That is the same config as mine. Brisbane, reservation July 2018, ordered 31/05/19, VIN but no delivery date. If I get it by mid October I will be happy. If you get yours before me @bigbones , I will be paying them a visit o_O

Looking at the spreadsheet with FSD in it now, 100% of responses that have FSD selected have a VIN assigned. Is there anyone that ordered FSD that doesn’t have a VIN yet?

FYI, Random206 has added a field in the VIN spreadsheet to indicate whether or not FSD was selected in your order. Would be good if people could go through and update their responses (if you can be bothered) so that we can see if there is any correlation between FSD and delivery dates etc. Cheers!

Dear everyone, I have decided to stop following this thread until I at least have a hidden VIN as it is driving me insane. Good luck to you all and I hope to be back on here soon.

Especially seeing as it has track mode. Without that it would be a different story. Unfortunately when it was possible to order the P-, no one could tell for certain of it came with track mode or not

I agree. I am still really looking forward to taking delivery but the way the reservations and deliveries are being handled is definitely tarnishing the experience. Colleagues and friends keep asking me where my car is and all I can say is I don’t know. Unfortunately it is making it difficult...

I agree! Hidden VINs definitely seem to mean something. There seems to be no apparent pattern to who gets one unless we are missing something. Maybe they are just going off people names in alphabetical order? :D We need a new column for people initials in the spreadsheet!

Good news SR+ people! I just dropped in to Tesla Brisbane and checked out the white SR+ that they are using for test drives and notice that the wheels are equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres! Spoke to the sales rep and he said they are standard on the AU delivered SR+ From what I have...
