Just got a call from Tesla delivery specialist that delivery is booked in for September 20th - Adelaide.

Nice. I'm a November 2018 reserver, but no call yet - perhaps they're doing places like Adelaide as there're fewer cars there than Melbourne and Sydney and they can get them all there in 1-3 shipments?
Now if only they'd d that with Hobart too... (please Tesla, please, please, please!)

Is there anything that you are apprehensive about purchasing the M3?
For me it’s the glass roof and living in Queensland.

- glass roof does not open - I like the airflow with windows and sunroof open
- no headsup
- no Apple car play
- a little bigger than I want for my second/weekend/fun car [have a BMW 2 series coupe atm]

Minor things and not show stoppers. I have my test drive tomorrow, so will know more then.

Yeah, i guess the roof won't need anything.

I'll probably get the roof done also. I'm follicly challenged so UV concerns me a lot.

Will show it to my tint guy to get his advice on the roof.

I think the discussion about what is and what is not included on an Aus\NZ delivered Model 3 has been fully exhausted.
Good luck with you class action etc but I am struggling to keep up with the speed of this thread so I will be moderating with less concern for peoples feelings going forward.
I will add as a non-moderator that anyone wishing to take action against Tesla over missing items on their cars read the Privacy and Legal page of the Tesla website and in particular this clause.

I have an S with the glass roof. Even in 40 deg it isn't a problem, and you don't get glare. It's not like a sunroof on an ICE. Seriously, you shouldn't be at all worried about the glass roof

agree. never had a problem in our S - even on 45 degree day on Movieworld trip!

Nothing yet mate as of late. There were a couple of people who got tentative delivery dates, but they are for mid to late September.

Ditto. Our mazda 6 sport hatch is almost exactly the same physical dimensions as the 3. The hatch seems like such good idea. But I guess you can't have the one-piece glass roof if you do that.

For those kiwis planning to juice up at home- which electric company and plans are best? I am installing HPWC and will mostly be charging in the night.

Right now am struggling with my current supplier whom I have been with to give a decent quote.
