You do not get free unlimited supercharging without a referral code. You can add them after the order, just let your OA know.

Actually, they did away with the $500 in service or gear credit with this new round of referrals May 1 to July 15.

Are you sure you are not getting free supercharging? When we ordered, our OA said he could easily get us a ref code if we don't have one handy. Maybe your OA just used his code (or his friend's) when you didn't give him one.

Coming up on the end of my lease and considering buying a new X, does anyone know what happens to your referral program awards? I have a solid % toward the roadster + some credit from the powerwalls.

The awards and levels are linked to your "TESLA ACCOUNT", not your specific car/VIN*.

If you turn in your S and buy and X on the same account, nothing will really change w/r/t the referrals, and you can continue to accrue referrals towards the Roadster.

*Not entirely true -- the awards like the Arachnids are linked to your VIN.

Right thanks for the reminder, need to redeem those Arachnids... I read something a while back when someone sold their car and all their awards disappeared completely so just making sure

If you sell your car and don't own a Tesla, your account may go into limbo, but if you end a lease and buy a Tesla, I would expect the account to stay open and your rewards stay too.
