Quick question for those who have already collected their Vehicles. How long does the whole process actually take from start to finish? I’m collecting in Manchester but need to be back in Leeds for childcare. When I’ve bought cars new in the past it’s been a right ball ache with them trying to upsell every possible extra going!

So after a nerve wracking weekend, they've found my vehicle. Something to do with the sheer number of vehicles they're trying to move, mine slipped through the delivery schedule.

Unfortunately, they can't get it to Brent Cross until next week so I'm off to Southampton on Wednesday to pick it up!

VIN disappeared from app and account page due to previous collection appointment being cancelled. After booking new collection, VIN is showing again.
I'm glad, but that's poor that they can't get it to Brent Cross for you.

At least you only have 2 more sleeps!

Ouch! Do you have any photos?
Of course, I've uploaded them via the app and got an appointment with the service centre already! 20210920_110054.jpg20210920_110104.jpg20210920_161304.jpg

It depends how long you take to check it over, it took me about 40 mins today but I had a vehicle to part ex and some bodywork damage to scrutinise/agree with the Tesla rep. I was told to be 10 mins early when they rang me for the pre-delivery call so I was out of there 30 mins after my slot time.

Mine was about 45 minutes, mostly just me checking things over, the time on the Tesla side was maybe 10-15 mins, very smooth, that was at Biuewater though.

Don’t forget the lottery over how much charge is in the car and whether you need to top up somewhere

The mirror scuff looks like paint transfer, that will buff off? And the door one looks like it could polish out. The a pillar one looks very nasty though, not sure there’s any way to fix it other than respraying the whole panel!
The mirror scuff is right on the top so an odd place to get paint transfer and agreed the door one will probably polish out. Do you know if Tesla do their own paint repairs? Other dealers I've dealt with over the years have always used a bodywork specialist. I'm hoping I don't have to schlepp over to the Bristol service centre for nothing if I end up having to take the car elsewhere.

Ealing. They have a discount for EV permit holders, making them dirt cheap (£20/yr) compared to what I used to pay in H&F (~£200/yr), but no exemptions.

Fired off an email, hoping to hear back with something. Although knowing a council, probably not.

I have no idea what I'm going to do.
Do you have any new flat developments around you? You might find some people offering parking spaces to rent.
