One simply cannot deliver some new functionality as beta that totally interferes creating very unsafe scenarios EVEN WITH THE NEW FUNCTIONALITY TURNED OFF (or to that point, even autosteer and everything underneath it). Extremely bad QA and regression testing on their part.

Unfortunately not enough. I had everything disabled, even autosteer, and still got a nasty automatic emergency brake in the middle of the freeway. REALLY SCARY. I was lucky that there was nobody behind me.

exactly the same here . Even without it activated. Tons of FWC, when cars in front were way far ahead…. I also CANNOT enable FSD (no wheel icon) on city streets. Only on freeways. But it’s giving me the random annoying FCW in both city or freeway driving.

As a lot of other things in life, this was a game that rewarded not the safest drivers, but those who understood the game and how to play it for their benefit.

Drive in NYC or any other bumper to bumper traffic city, get penalized as being unsafe. Drive in a smooth zig-zag in a freeway and have a great safety score! Break hard not to run over a kid running: Unsafe! This scoring is stupid.

My point is that unless that situation happens, I will have a perfect score. And if that situation happens and I do the right thing, I will be penalized.

Why does Tesla spend time and resources to change things that didn't need changing? The new phone app does exactly the same things as before, but I'm a worse way. Screen is more difficult to see and buttons are smaller. Who is the genius in charge of the phone app UI???

I am on Geico, paying about $700 for 6 months. As others suggested here, tried quoting with Costco/Ameriprise... $2300 for 6 months, with the same coverage I have set for Geico. Even reducing as much as possible the coverage, it only came down to about $2100 for 6 months.

It is so annoying the way Tesla issues new updates. Every single other product I know of doesn't force you to download and install it in order to read the release notes. Usually you can read the release notes before initiating any download or install.

Prepare for your insurance premiums to skyrocket anytime soon. Either that or maybe even a "recall" removing smart summon. Videos showing Tesla's Smart Summon feature doing bizarre things have gotten the NHTSA's attention
