Yea I’ve moved my vacation 6/19-6/27 over a possible delivery during that week. Kinda BS they won’t hold it for me until I get back. I’ve only waited almost 2 months

I know I've said this a few times in the past but for the new folks: Tesla does their MY/M3 orders from outside in. Starting mid-way through the quarter, they focus on the US cities/states furthest from Fremont. As they get into the last month of the quarter, that radius starts to pull in and by the last week of the quarter (6/23 - 6/30 for the current quarter), they will only be delivering to CA and west coast as those are the only regions that would be able to take delivery before quarter's end (I assume AZ and NV would be a part of this too).
It's hard to say how many MYs they can produce in those last few weeks because we're not sure what capacity the Fremont factory is allocated to these (remember, they have to start producing new S and X and some point). But even if you ordered late May or early June in CA, I would say there's still a chance of getting a car this month. There was plenty of anecdotal evidence of people ordering in the final days of Q1 and getting a car a day or two later.
Congrats. It looks great. Feeling a little less worried about scratches and dings now on the demo. Have any plans on doing a PPF? I'm thinking of doing the stealth ppf film on mine. The demo had 347 miles but eventually got to my house with like 380 miles. There is a tiny scratch on the passengers' side b-pillar, some scratches inside one door jam, and the tail light piece that's on the tailgate sticks out on the top juuuuust a little more than the rest. I had to really scrutinize the car to find these. Still has the new car smell too.
My WFH office view.

I have the exact same configuration and EDD. Delivery to MDR as well. Tho they did text me last month to see if I wanted home delivery. I ordered a week after you. Keeping fingers crossed that we get the Y soon!DD moved again, now 6/9-27. technically the window is narrowing, just not in the right direction. was told by SA a few days ago to expect 6/16 build, 6/17 delivery. we will see. MYLR blue/white, standard everything. ordered 4/17, delivery to MDR in LA.
I opted against PPF on my Model S since it was a lease. After 3 years of So. Cal driving, the hood and front bumper had a bunch of chips. So I'm definitely getting PPF for my Model Y since it's a purchase and not a lease.I wouldn't worry too much! Like I said yesterday, getting the demo actually took the pressure off keeping a brand new off-the-line car in mint condition.
YouTube convinced me that I needed PPF and very specific all weather mats even though I live in southern california where we don't have weather. I did end up getting the mats, but I am on the fence about PPF. My brother works at a shop that will hook me up (full front, edge to edge xpel) but I'm not even sure I want to go through the trouble since they are in San Diego. I bought rear PPF panels from Abstract Ocean though (to replace the damaged ones Tesla sent).
3 days. Normally zero flexibilityHow big of a pickup window do we get once we are assigned a VIN? Is it 3 days or 1 week?
How much flexibility do they have outside of the 3 days?
Sadly it's this. And we won't have the lead time like many across the country do because we don't have the travel time needed. Your car could come off the line today and be ready for delivery tomorrow. I was also told by the delivery specialist a few weeks ago that the system is mostly automated in assigning (and un-assigning) VINs. There's not a special button that says "Hold for a few more days so customer can get back from vacation or something". If the system doesn't see things progressing (i.e. payment made and confirmed, delivery scheduled, etc.) it'll just unmatch you and assign the vehicle to someone else. This is why I opted to go with the Tesla financing instead of my CU. Rates were the same (although my CU would drop by a quarter percent after 1 year of on-time payments) but I wanted to eliminate a potential point of friction.3 days. Normally zero flexibility
same here. just spoke with my SA and he said im still on track for end of the month delivery. ordered 4/10Looks like I have a date of: Estimated Delivery: June 22 - June 30
MYP - white on white.

I have felt this way for the last week!Today is definitely a day where I’m feeling like I’m never going to get my car.
