I got my VIN 202xxx. MYP MSM FSD, no tow. Black interior. 5 seater. Ordered 4/18

I called my SA and he said my car is scheduled for production 6/16 (!!!). He said because color such as blue and red are rare so is white interior. The factory waits until they get enough number of order before they start final production.

Seriously, I've heard it all now. Every SA has a different story. I guess my MSM with black interior is also super rare???

Yep found my exact config 1.5k miles but with FSD .... it’s software can you please remove it !!

Literally tempted to do the same. But low key - why so many new cars? It was a lottery if we even found one listing for the west coast only a few weeks ago. Now all these different options tempting us #suspicious

I must have gotten a hybrid of the two. I must have received the old door panels and seats but the new center console.

Yeah. I am picking up at Burbank. I did notice that they appear to update their website at 6:00am because I checked at 5:50am and there wasn’t an update. At 6:01am there was the blue button.

Oooo, I just noticed. My config is identical except non-P. Not worth the $10k IMHO. But tempting.

That would be good to know if I thought I was ever going to get a blue button....

My profile page has been doing this thing today where it loads the top part (image of car) first and then waits a beat before loading the rest. Tricks me into thinking it'll be the blue button every damn time.

I haven’t received the text yet. I called my SA and they were able to make a change to my trade in for me, but he said you have to get the text from the delivery team. I tried calling the delivery center in Costa Mesa, no one answers.

The estimated date is June 1-June 5. I emailed my SA to get more information but he said it’s handed over to the delivery team now. They will contact me at some point. I haven’t paid them yet so I don’t know.. My VIN appears to be one of the newer ones.

So inventory has no transport fee but now the car costs 1k+ more so it’s a moot point I guess

One thing I was thinking regarding the ordering and prioritization is that Tesla essentially owns all of their “dealerships”. For other automakers, your local dealership becomes an advocate for you because they make money when you buy something from their dealership specifically. So they’re going to put pressure on Ford or Honda or whoever to make sure they get their fair allotment of cars. Tesla doesn’t really care who or where people buy from as long as they meet their quarterly goals. And since they own all of their dealerships, the dealers/SA’s can’t really put pressure on the mothership.

I just went to the store and my SA showed me the secret inventory. He matched me on the spot. Got a VIN and picking up tonight or tomorrow

Which store do I need to drive to? I'll travel days to get it if it means I can get it sooner... lol

Seems like some people are getting more info than I. Spoke with the Temecula dealership again, still no ETA or build date. The woman I spoke with said I should cross my fingers that someone doesn't pick up their car with the same config .
