I sent Tesla an email and here's the useless scripted response:
Thank you for contacting Tesla Technical Support regarding your homelink issue. I apologize for the inconvenience this delayed response has caused. Did you already try to reboot your touchscreen after the firmware update? Below are the steps to reboot the touchscreen.
1) Locate the left and right scroll wheels on the steering wheel.
2) Press and hold the brake pedal along with the left and right scroll wheels until the 17” display turns off and the TESLA “T” logo appears.
3) Once the Tesla “T” logo appears, you can release the scroll wheel buttons.
4) Continue to wait a full minute until the vehicle finishes rebooting itself.
In case the reboot does not work, please try to reset the homelink location:
Controls> Settings> Homelink. Choose the name of the programmed device and touch Reset Location.
Please feel free to reach out to us via email or call us at 877-798-3752 in case the issue persists.
