I wonder how long it'll take from "production finish" to "delivered" in the DC area.
And I wonder how long from "production start" to "built"?

Mine took about 3 weeks from production start to delivery. I don't remember how long mine was stuck in production, I think 12 days. You do the math

Part of the QC testing should involve a pretty intense spray down off the car from all angles. May have been that the damage from the water didn't show up right away.

I got the impression that we were talking about a very small tear in a gasket. I doubt a spray down would allow enough water in to be detectable by the car. There is no sensor in the motor for water. The issue was detected in performance of the motor not matching specifications. However, several days traveling on an open carrier and then driving around rainy Seattle to test. That probably was enough.

July Delivery. I have noted on Tesla website that it shows "Late July" delivery for new orders. Hopefully, this means mine will be delivered early to mid July. I will keep you posted!

My 85D just went into production today. Late June delivery (~06/27 according to DS) at the Rockville SC. Your car and mine will be on the same train, more than likely.

Maybe, I think they want to make high June delivery numbers (end of quarter which they report against). They threw mine on a truck Friday and it was here Monday AM. They may batch some and do the same!

Just got a reply from DS, my Tesla's in Canada! In fact, it's sitting in the Vaughn railyard which is like 30 miles from my house. The suspense is absolutely killing me but we're finally at the home stretch :biggrin:. DS says delivery will probably happen this week!

Did you get a promise of Late June delivery? All I see on My Tesla page is "Estimated Delivery: Late June. This time frame is only an estimate and is subject to change based on current production schedules and option availability. Please expect that this timing will shift to provide the most accurate estimate possible. Your delivery appointment will be confirmed by your Delivery Experience Specialist once your vehicle is fully assembled and en route to the nearest Tesla location for final inspection and preparation."

Please let me know if you were promised a Late June delivery. I hope you get your MS in June. My P85D went into production on May 29. Was built in 5-6 days. Now stuck on a rail in New Mexico on the way to Chicago. My DS says he hopes it will arrive late June. Good luck and keep us posted!

still in production queue, haven't move to production yet.

It it auto confirm 7 days from order submit, any change request from there will be evaluated and charge 500 service fee.

I went back to Keystone the day after ordering to have them 'finalize' it so I could get in queue and get going.

That explains why when I press finalized, nothing happened. It didn't get confirm until the auto confirm date. That sucks!

Awesome! I got mine in Chicago last Wednesday and have been loving it. Worked with DS, James, in Chicago - great guy! Have fun and safe drive(s) back to WI! Hopefully you can time it mid-day to avoid some of the awful Chicago traffic.
