Slacker radio stuttering?

I started getting the issue after updating my X to 172.42.1. It seems only slightly better now on 44 (installed last Friday)... SC was unaware of the issue last Friday when I was there - they applied .44 at that time after not being able to reproduce the issue (likely on SC WiFi though).

I heard from Tesla via email today and gave them details on the issues I am seeing and the slow speeds recorded on the browser using fast.com . They asked for timing of issues etc and I gave them those details, basically it’s the internet speed that’s crapped out currently 200kbps vs the usual 3.0 mbps. I’ll post back what I hear.

Same issue here. Service center wasn't all that concerned and suggested I bring the car in for a diagnostic. It's a software issue (something changed in 17.42 perhaps), so there's not much to be gained from a service visit (plus the service center is 150 miles away. They also had the car for the annual check up about six weeks ago.

Anyway, I don't think Tesla realizes how annoying this issue is. I've tried getting by with USB but I'm getting errors there as well.

I didn't start having the issue until I updated to 17.42. Not sure if coincidental or not.
I have an appointment with the SC tomorrow for these issues. My SC has been pulling my logs and working with engineering on this. They said the Tune-In and Slacker issues are due to a software problem and they are working on it. They said the slow throughput over LTE is an issue between Tesla and AT&T, but they can't quite put their finger on it, so they want to use my car as a benchmark for some testing.

Here’s the ridiculous response I got from Tesla Service:
“Thank you for contacting Tesla Customer Support with your suggestion about Tunin and Slacker performing poorly after the latest update. We appreciate your feedback, and will forward it to our Feature Request team for consideration in future updates. We cannot promise that this feature will be available, but our team reviews every customer request seriously”

Feature request... lol
