I was told by a gigafactory employee that the delivery of Powerwalls was heavily impacted by Elons promise to Australia for the powerpacks. That blindsided the factory and it's all hands on deck to meet that promise. Very few Powerwalls are coming out in the mean time. Some, but few. Also not surprised they are prioritizing the paying customer over the freebies.

I really wish I could get one of these for my Model 3...but realistically since I got 0 referrals this year...I don’t see that changing in the next month....lol

I'm sure there will be a bunch available on TMC starting in January. We still use UMCs at home so now we'll finally be upgrading.

Yes, I'm surprised they are implementing this removal of the $1,000 prior to year end. The previous language referenced December 31. This is a pretty significant change.

And curious how the revisions to the prizes will work. I guess everyone with at least two referrals will now get a second email about a mini-Tesla or wall connector.

I'm very curious. my Dad took delivery on Tuesday and i haven't gotten an email about the mini model S yet, so i wonder if i can still pick between the two. i'll update when i hear.

Interesting. My first referral took delivery about a week ago and i recently recd an email from Tesla about the toy car. My second referral took delivery today. It will be interesting to see what email i get from Tesla about the second referral.

They are in the process of rolling out an updated referral program with new prizes. See post #4648 above.

Who are the people in the leaderboard?

There are multiple tabs on the Leaderboards. They have tabs for Owners, Local, United States (local country) and World.

The Owners tab is the only tab that shows actual owners. It isn't for the entire country though so maybe it is by ZIP code? I'm not certain.
