How does one use a referral code? Not a link, but the actual code? I tried to add one while purchasing mine, but didn’t see anywhere to put it! I had to go back and ask the guy for a link.

Well, it's been awhile since I've used or given mine out, but back in the day if you ordered through a sales advisor you could give them a code during the order process. These days I think all orders (even through a sales advisor) go online, so when ordering you go through the link (which contains your code) and it applies the supercharger credits to your order.

It's easier to remember and type in a code such as ts.la/david8738 than it is to do a code such as ts.la/30430fd9-0242-4792-882c-88cb07e89c2e

Also, some sites (including TMC) will replace a URL with the page title so ts.la/david8738 becomes Earn Free Supercharging Miles or a $100 Cash Award so you don't really see the link.
