I was thinking of doing this as well in reddit but is it safe to share vin like this ?Confirmed in reddit for HW4 & matrix headlights
I can go up to your car and snap your VIN in any parking lot. That said, I did delete my VIN after getting an answer, *even though* I rejected the vin.I was thinking of doing this as well in reddit but is it safe to share vin like this ?
Got the exact same config and estimated EDD in SoCal. A colleague of mine ordered MYLR way before me and his estimated EDD is end of June/early July, so MYPs indeed seem to deliver faster. Wondering if we'll get HW4. Checking my app every hour, lol.EDD updated on 06-03-23
June 3 - June 16
…………..
No VIN yet
Lol true that. Even if you delete your post the VIN is still visible in the replies it seems . Anyways I am just waiting for my Vin to come and Post it on reddit. These Tesla guys are worthless in my area.I can go up to your car and snap your VIN in any parking lot. That said, I did delete my VIN after getting an answer, *even though* I rejected the vin.
Sounds like it, I'll see you all on pickup day. Hopefully closer to the middle than the end of the month, I won't hold my breath though.Same area (south sound), blue/white. Been sitting on June 15-30 for a couple weeks. Sounds like there will be a nice chunk of PNW cars coming soon.

I picked mine up Friday, and paid after I inspected it.Sorry if others have already posted this exact question but does anyone know definitively that I don't have to submit my final payment until I inspect the car? I live in Texas, I know someone asked if it varies by state so thought I'd mention that. Also, my credit union has already sent them a check for most of the car, the only thing pending is my 10K downpayment. In this case, does it even matter anymore? Feel like I should just pay the rest considering the bank already paid a large chunk (I didn't seem to have a choice on waiting). I was told no payments can be accepted at the service center during delivery. Thanks in advance!
However, you are not in Texas. Tesla is not allowed to sell cars in Texas, so you have to pay for it in advance and then it gets "delivered" to you in Texas.I picked mine up Friday, and paid after I inspected it.
Wow, that seems like a load of crap. Funny they have a manufacturing plant in Austin. However, you are not in Texas. Tesla is not allowed to sell cars in Texas, so you have to pay for it in advance and then it gets "delivered" to you in Texas.
Maybe Ken Paxton should work on following the other laws rather than having the antiquated law about direct sales of cars. However, you are not in Texas. Tesla is not allowed to sell cars in Texas, so you have to pay for it in advance and then it gets "delivered" to you in Texas.
Same, ahah!1st EDD: June 2 - June 16 updated May 31

I was joking. I understand why the law was created, but more than likely was created because the dealerships had a better lobby - it's all about influence. I lived in Texas for 25 years, politics are funny there (well, everywhere)The law was originally intended to prevent manufacturers from coming in and competing head to head with dealerships, which have lot's of money invested. Don't know if that argument is relevant still. I see where Ford is considering following Tesla's lead and selling direct to customers at a fixed price. I think there are about a dozen States which have similar laws to Texas about direct sales.
I won't respond to your political statement.
@Huey1A9 --- Did you get your trade in offer?I submitted my order with the trade in request on the 25th. Still nothing as of today for me. Was told by my SA that the team is very much backed up.
@illusion --- I am still waiting for my trade in offer. Did they get back to you?I think it was yesterday or 2 days back.
